Travelling with my maiden name on my passport

Hello everyone,

Hopefully someone can give me advice on this . I will be going to the Philippines in 2 months but my worry is that, my passport is still on my maiden name. When I did my reservation for my ticket they told me to use what is on my passport but still I used what is on my green card. I would like to know if someone has travelled with their maiden name and used their married name on their ticket, and if they encountered any problem.

Thanks...

do you have advanced parole? if so, then no problem.

tickets have to be the same name as your passport. take your marriage license with you - a certified raised seal copy of it, along with the ap documents to get back into the usa.

ShaSha just got her green card last week and we are flying to the Philippines on March 8th. We were told the name on the ticket needs to be on the passport so thats what we did. I think you will have problems and should call the airline and change the name to make sure you are ok, just explain the error. Then take your marriage docs to show the name change and you will be ok.

I would use the Passport name as the travel name.

On our last trip back to the Philippines just this past Aug-Sep, Marlene used her married name for the ticket even though we haven't done the passport amendment yet. We took our marriage certificate with us and had no problem.

I came back here in the Philippines last Nov. Travelled with my passport which still has my maiden name. Upon checking-in from my city of origin, they check my GC (dunno if they really need that or they just wanted to see). But upon boarding the main flight, attendant said they only need my passport for verification. Had no problem at all.

You were never a mistake. You were my realization.
