desihiten,

Congratulations and thanks for posting your experience. Why did the officer asked for PCC? Wasn't that submitted to NVC which was then forwarded to the consulate? For our K3, we had submitted PCC to VFS so consulate should have that already. Please let me know.

Hi Siyaram,

The Indian officer asked for the PCC's because I never submitted the originals to NVC. I used the shortcuts and had my wife scan the originals in India, then email them to me. I used a color printer to get the photographs in color but they were really copies. My wife had the originals in her possession the whole time. I am assuming that is why they asked for the PCC before the fingerprinting was done.

By the way. For those who do not know. Skype.com offers a free vehicle to talk to your loved ones online. I used it for the past year and it is free for us because we have easy access to the internet. My wife and I talked for hours when she went to a cyber cafe. She paid 40 rupees an hour, but that is a great deal when you consider that you get to see her smile in real time (and talk to her at the same time).

Good Luck to all of you, and Thank you for your support. Please contact me with any questions...I will be more than happy to help you.

Hi Hiten,

Thanks for letting me know about the PCC. It makes sense now why they asked for the original PCCs. Congratulations once again.
