Today I was in the liquor store and the employee said where have you been? And I was like, what??!! That is not appropriate!

Then another guy said, hey didn't I help you the last time and I was like :o . Then the other day as I was leaving , I asked about a certain kind of potato chips they have and one of the employees said, tell my MIL that we will have them next week! And I was like excusez moi??? :o These people are crazy and I don't think they should be acting like I come in there all the time.

:jest: Maybe you have twin out there you don't know about.

I've worked in customer service and the only times I've felt like being rude was when someone asked me something in a rude way.

OR when the question was so stupid I couldn't believe it.

Yep.

I think it depends on whom and what you are asking them to do..

Based on YOUR [the OP] topic yesterday that got closed and made invisible-I think it's a pretty good assumption you will be encountering some ...uhm....mixed receptions and reactions from the 'service employees' at USCIS. Brace yourself.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!
