Dear Nessa,

Yes its me and like Roi_Aggie, openly not a lover of your fiance. But I have nothing against you as you are not as abrasive or rude as Charles, I just object to you using VJ as your own personal chat up and praise area for each other! You say you will stay here as you choose to spend your time together here, well I think that's just strange as there are much better places for interaction.

Remember we have all of us here been in online LDR situations where we were apart for years (in my case) before we were together, but never did we use a site like this to openly spend our time together and share our intimate thoughts on each other! This site is designed as a wonderful resource for couples in this situation, and Off Topic is for irreverant topics, not rudeness, aggressiveness, love-dovey chat etc. I have never known another couple do it consistently like you two do, it makes me wonder if you are still trying to convince each other of your love by having to say it so publicly all the time!

My hubby just said...'hell tell them to even try to find a post from Magic Christian (his VJ name) in here'.

The rest of us use/d Yahoo or MSN messenger, webcams, mics, yahoo/msn games, skype, puzzle sites....places where we can actually interact in real time together, we did not inflict our relationship on a site designed for information and support.

I guess because you insist on using this site as your own personal meeting place, it once again is starting to feel like the charlesandnessa/nessaandcharles show in Off Topic. Whether you believe us or not, I have more than a few PM's from VJ'ers who feel just like we do, but choose to just tolerate you both. Roi and I are just the types that say what we think!

If you stop and think about the other longstanding VJ'ers who post alot like me, have you ever seen any of us chit-chatting back and forth in threads with our fiance on personal stuff. I'll name a few regulars to help you...Welshie, Aussiewench, Almaty, Roi, Dixie, Icey, Frances, Merc, Mirorgate, Silvanski, Jasman, MarilynP, Jaylen, Michelle...I could go on but I personally do not see them and their partners acting like you and Charles do.

I would not have a problem with either of you if you just showed some restraint and Charles was less rude!

Just in the spirit of fairness, I have to say that Charles and I have spoken in PM and he was very nice, not rude, and took some harsh words very well.

This thread originally started off as simply " a thread about nothing in particular..." mostly in joke because someone else had their own thread and was using it to boost their posts. So I did the same! That's it-no more, no less.

Then Mark came on and posted some romantic stuff which Nessa "corrected" -I ( and afew others) took exception to; I told Nessa exactly what I thought about what she had written and why.-Nessa apologized, Mark took the apology......and I thought pretty much "end of story".

Regardless of wether or not I agree with you [sukie]; I really did not intend for this whole "fling" to go on and on and on like this.

I feel actually bad that a thread I started is turning into " the place to go to release and vent annoyances".

Just my thoughts.

PS No one PM'd me...LOL If C+N and I cannot "get along" we will just ignore eachother I am sure, but as far as the original gripe was here-it's done as far as I am concerned.

As far as you, Nessa, I'm not trying to get you to leave. I personally don't care what you do, whether you stay or go. I will say that your presumption was wayyyy out of line, and I dread to think whether or not you'd correct someone's speech while in a social situation. Also, I don't believe your excuse 'oh I do it with my friends' because I have never seen you correct anyone else's grammar, and if you have, well then that's my oversight.

I just think it was downright rude & stupid, let alone pedantic & absolutely socially retarded...whether you agree or not, that's my opinion.

No, i don't correct people in a social situation, actually i find it rude to correct people in front of others, unless they request such. I apologized to them because in retrospect I really felt that my correction was out of line. And no, I'm not using as an excuse I correct my friends and just because you've never seen me correcting anyone here is because my life isn't just VJ and VJ people. I was refering to my friends in Brazil, people who know my english is good and when I correct them, they're ok with it, they ask for it, they want my help them to learn. That was what I meant, I'm used to talk to people on msn, yim, game rooms I'm a regular and being asked that. Or talking to people from other countries (not VJ people, old friends) who try to speak portuguese and mispell it so I correct them. So that was my error here, for a moment I didn't consider this was VJ and I wasn't talking to my friends, and I corrected him. It happens. I'm not perfect. I was wrong and I'm sorry.

As for ignoring Roi, that sounds like a good suggestion now. The reason I haven't done such is because I'm not the one chasing his posts and starting s#it because I dislike or don't agree with what he says, so I never felt like he feels about me, I annoy him so why instead of starting fights he didn't put me on ignore?

If I was the one chasing him around giving him s#it about his comments and wanting to start a fight, then you could tell me to ignore him. But that's not the case. I'm here and this is a place where people can speak their mind. I don't agree in being rude and making people feel unconfortable. So I said something that was rude, I recognized and I apologized to the people that were involved.

sukie, sorry I don't know your name, I know some people might find quite weird the fact we're always here posting and think that we're trying to give a show or prove to people we are crazy about each other. We talk on e-mail, msn, yim all the time in private, this is nothing comparing to the ammount of time we spend talking in private. The thing about us might sound sick for a few people but we are like this, we're romantic people and we enjoy every single moment together.

I understand you and others thinking OMG don't they ever shut up? lol Just know we're not trying to impress anyone at all, we're just being us.

Michele, you and Mark are very nice. Don't feel bad that your thread has become hijacked... it happens all the time. Just look at the "Am I Overreacting" thread! That's how it goes here in OT.

C & N have a history here, so unless you have been here for awhile, you wouldn't know about it. Like Sukie said, she and I tend to be a little more (okay okay... A LOT MORE) outspoken. There are quit a few of us on here who have developed bonds with each other, so that when we need each other, we are there for each other, and back each other up.

This is not a good place to come and start trouble if you don't have a coalition. It is also not a dating site either, where you exchange love notes with your bf/gf.

Oh yeah, one final thing... Michele, stop posting after Lisa!!!

confusing thread

starts out with the title of a hindi movie...and now this?

I think some people maybe get annoyed with Nessa and Charles because maybe most couples on VJ, only one in the relationship is posting. So there isn't a lot of lovey dovey interaction between couples here. Why some people have such an issue with it, I am not sure. It's like the good ol' VJ saying "if you don't like it, don't read it..." No one has to read the lovey dovey stuff... But that saying is actually easier said than done. I will steal Frances' *shrug* for this one.
