recheduling interview

hello there iam recheduling my fiance's interview it was to be march 10th but her new passport will not be avaliable to her until march 25th so thats why recheduling just wonder if anyone here has recheduled and if the new interview date will long time off since we had to cancel

There's no way of knowing until she calls to re-schedule. Judging from what others say, don't count on the passport being available March 25. It's said to be an eight-week process, at a minimum.

Go to the interview without the passport and explain it is getting renewed. Many who have tried to reschedule their appointment have ended up with a letter of denial for AOS.

If the officer really needs the passport she will tell you at the interview to bring it in oce you have got it.

I agree. We had our interview on Thuesday, and while sitting in the waiting room we heard one guy talking to the immigration officer. I guess they had the intreview sheduled but his wife was out of the country,they called the 1800...number to reshedule but the local office never got it, so they got the denial letter. They were lucky enought to get another inerview. Go no matter what! good luck.

You can't go to the medical without a passport.

Can't understand why it's taking so long. Make a donation!!

OK so it looks like you posted this in the wrong forum. You are talking about a K1 interview and not a Adjustment of Status interview. big diffrence.
