Hi Guys!

I am new in here. I come across this forum when I try to check the average lag time between N-652 and N-445.

I never knew that I applied 1 day early until I read the questions in this forum.

My case is that I applied for N-400 1 day early and got approved.

I confused the 90days= 3months, it never came across my mind that there are 31days for the some months.

I passed the interview and on that day I received the approval paper N-652 says, “Congratulation your application is recommended for approval”.

The IO said the oath letter would be mailed to me within 90 days. Currently I am still waiting for the oath letter to arrive.

Will they find out that I applied more than 90days early during the processing of my oath letter?

If they mail me the oath letter, what am I suppose to do? Take the oath of allegiance or tell them my problem at the oath ceremony.

I want to petition my parents after I am naturalized, will they find out later?

I think you are worried about nothing. Generally if you send in your application too early they return it to you. So, you are good to go. Don't worry about it or as others have said it "Furgetta bout it!"

Usually they will check during the interview.

What's your NOA1 saying ?

Usually they keep it for a couple of days, and enter your case info to system if USCIS mailroom people find out.

So if you pass the interview, it shouldn't be a problem.

Please double check the "Receipt Date" on your NOA letter. Receipt date is not the same as your mailing date and they don't necessarily or usually input your case into the system right away once they received it. For my I-751, I used USPS express mail on 1/28/2009 at 9am, USPS tracking said it arrived VSC on 1/29/2009 at noon, but my NOA receipt said they entered my case into the system on 1/30/2009 on 7pm, see it took total of 2.5 days from my mailing until they enter it into the system. May be that's what caused your question, basically what I'm saying is even though they're slow or delayed your entry of the case but it turns out to be a good thing at the end because you mailed it one day too early. Hope that helps! Please come back to tell us if that's the case and your detail interview experience. Btw, congratulations on passing the interview and approval!
