I filed my I-751 August 8, 2008. Went to biometrics a few weeks afterward. Have not heard anything since.

Just wondering how others that have filed around the same time are doing.

I sent package direclty to VSC instead of TSC.

I filed directly to the VSC on July 17, 2008, went for biometrics a few weeks later and my file was not touched for seven months and one week. Yesterday I got a notice that my package has been transferred to the California Service Center. I'm taking this as a hopeful sign but who knows.

Hi Kllybrgn,

Likewise, I filed the I-751 directly at the VSC at about the same time as you did, and this is my timeline so far....(as also written on my VJ timeline too):

Date Filed :2008-08-18 NOA Date :2008-08-22 RFE(s) :N/A Bio. Appt. :2008-09-24 (Walk-In Biometrics). And I haven't heard anything since (2008-09-26, when they last "touched" my case) as....."Ant still waits for a 10yr green card that will only be used for a few months afterwards. A waste of time and money! The Journey Continues...".... :angry:

Yes Jasman0717, the states served by TSC changed over to be served by VSC, so there was a memo to submit directly there.

AOS: ND - June 5 2006 | RFE - June 15 2006 | FP Notice - June 30 (Rescheduled to Sept 16) | AP ND - August 14 2006| Walk-in FP - Sept 5 (FP cleared next day!) | Interview - Sept 8 2006 (Approved!) | Welcome Letter - Sept 13 | EAD received - Sept 19 (kinda moot since I'm waiting for GC) | GC received - Sept 23 2006 - Woohoo!!

I-751: 06/10/08 Mailed package to VSC direct (per memo instructions) not TSC.
