I feel your pain, only I'm worst,

I applied on march 14th, and my case hasn't even been touched. No RFE nothing. A friend at work is a political activist and he said I would be better served if I contact my Representative instead of Congresswoman, I went to her website and filled in the info, they sent me a generic email saying your concern or question is at utmost important to us and that was it, nothing more. It will be better if you find their office and walk in or call,

Good luck

Your Representative is your Congressman or Congresswoman (whichever the case may be). In case way outside adjudication time-frames, like yours you can contact your Congressional Representative OR your Senator.

Alternatives:

1. Make an Infopass appointment and get a new one year extension stamp in your passport.

2. File for citizenship and get another one year extension.

hi sale 751.

was your application joint or you filed for a waiver? a waiver sometimes need more than a year for processing. Although there are waivers which are processed within 3 months from CSC.

the wait time for a waiver can vary. It could be 3 months to more than a year in some cases. I have send you a private message. Hope that helps.

Salam khoya,

I'm from Sale also, la Medina

I got an answer from my state rep, not from the congresswoman,

this is what it says

Dear Mr. Denabdelkrim:

Thank you for your February 24, 2009 e-mail to Congresswoman Shea-Porter's Washington, D.C. office regarding your concerns about your I-751 petition (Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence) currently pending with the Vermont Service Center (EAC).

We have contacted our EAC Congressional Liaison and requested a review of your case. I will notify you as soon as we receive a response to our inquiry on your behalf. If you have any questions or concerns in the interim, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me.

Chatii daba.
