Lucky March folks interviewing in India please share your interview experience in detail here. Any advise will be appreciated.

My NVC case is finally completed on 2/25/2009 and I hope my wife gets a April interview. Is there any air fare deal going on for New Delhi? It is only less than two months since I came back to USA and now again I have to ask for leave which will difinitely upset my director. Pray for my leave too!

Yes, there is BIG time air fare deal going on for any where in india. I just bought my wife's one way ticket for april 6th for $590. If you want to know the travel agent detail PM, I will gladly help you out.

Side note, you dont have to be present with your beneficiary at the time of interview. Its optional and most embassy/consulate wont even allow you to be in for interview.

Airfare is dirt cheap right now... Qatar has ~775 Jet Airways is ~850 R/T from either JFK or EWR

Thanks for the reply. I have updated my profile. The lowest fair I have found so far is $900.00 including taxes from IAD (Washington Dulles Airport) to DEL (Delhi). This is a special fare offered by Lufthansa and KLM.

Yes, there is BIG time air fare deal going on for any where in india. I just bought my wife's one way ticket for april 6th for $590. If you want to know the travel agent detail PM, I will gladly help you out.

Side note, you dont have to be present with your beneficiary at the time of interview. Its optional and most embassy/consulate wont even allow you to be in for interview.

continental nonstop service from delhi to ewr has the best fare available for april 6 for $528. check out www.kayak.com for the best fares. thats where i check all the time.
