Not for me I killed everything on my farm...my thumb is NOT green! Besides, I'm stuck in the kitchen barefoot cooking all day.

Got some small showers coming in this morning.

Hubby actually cooked dinner for himself last night!!!!!!!

I didnt ask him too but I guess after all the bickering about it he wanted to prove something to me and himself.

Or maybe, if my wife won't do it, i guess I better do it myself. He called his mom and got some simple receipe

put some roast in the pot and VIOLA! It was good but can I ask you ladies, I am not experienced with big hunks of meat.

I dont have a crock pot either just yet, so what cut of roast is best i.e. not much fat, tender, easy to cut?? and what is a simple way to make it?

Any loin cut is what we usually get here. To make it tender and easy to cut you have to cook it on low a low temp for a long time. Usually I cook it at 200 for about 4 hours to make a it real tender where it falls apart on the fork and melts in your mouth.

Yep 200 with a little beef broth, some onions, and if you are really adventurous, add some roasted garlic cream of mushroom soup to the broth and wisk it to blend, then add the onions and some crushed garlic pushed into slits in the meat. That works well in place of a crock pot.

My back still isn't better. I missed all yesterday sleeping in and now I'm confused what day it is and nothing makes sense. I can't focus. I have class tonight and a paper due which I am finishing now but I'm all messed up.
