Is changing POE a problem?

During the time of my medical exam., I had filled up the SLMEC form that my POE was LAX but this time as we, my hubby and I bought ticket, our point of entry is DETROIT. Is it okey and acceptable that there is a change in my POE without changing POE form entry at SLMEC form? What complication I may face?

Don't worry about it. We actually planned POE in LA and bought a ticket to LA, but discovered (after the paper tickets came in ugh) that my wife's POE was actually SF with a second leg to LA.....I met her in SF, we stayed a few days (vacationing hehe) and took Southwest home from SF. She just got off the plane, passed through customs/immigration, and never got back on the last leg of the flight. We didnt think twice about it. Nobody cares where you actually pass through customs or what you do afterwards.
