DS-3032 Form - who should be the agent?

Our I-130 has been approved and now we are getting ready for the next steps. From what I understand, for forms, my husband will need to complete the DS-3032 (choice of agent) form and DS-230. I was reading through the guide posted on Visa Journey (which is great) and it states that usually the alien notes the petitioner as the choice of agent. But I am with him in Europe (we couldn't stand to be apart during this process) and currently our mail is going to my tenant in Florida who scans the mail and emails it to us. But we will only be able to send mail to that address until July. We did not hire a lawyer for this process nor do we plan to.

Should we note my father as his choice of agent and have all mail sent to him? My father resides in the U.S. and will also be our co-sponsor in this process. OR, can we have mail sent to my husband, at his address in Italy? The form seems to offer the choice of the alien receiving any notifications to the address he chooses, in the country he chooses.

Also, according to the form on the guide, it looks like the DS-230 form expired on 12/31/2006 - does anyone know where we can get an updated form or is this form still good?

up to you really on where you send it. i did my husbands choice of agent to canada since i was in canada anyways. i paid online for everything, and he just downloaded the forms anyways, so it really didn't matter who it was. my mother was my co-sponser. i guess if were you, id pick your father just because its a longer lasting address. as for the new ds-230, here is a thread about that and where it is, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=180961

my thought would be if your with him there, and will continue to be then either could be th agent and have things sent there no need to do someone else in the states as you will still be responsible for returning the forms in a sense. If you work it right using the short cuts the mail shouldnt be much of a prob with the back and forth

Actually it's the DS-3032 that seems to be outdated. The form posted on this site and on the official site for the NVC notes an expiration of 12/31/2006- is that the most recent form?

For DS-3032, simply send the email to NVC. No need to mail the form. NVC will respond back to you within in a week saying that they've accepted your DS-3032. Rest of the forms are online, and I would highly advise paying online as it expedites the process. I know my petition is different than yours, but the process that we go through is very similar. I recommend that you email the DS-3032 to NVC, it usually takes them 3-4 days to respond, but its better then waiting for it in the mail, and then mailing it back. Things go pretty quickly once you get your AOS Bill in the mail and the DS-3032 is accepted.

I recommend that you email the DS-3032 to NVC, it usually takes them 3-4 days to respond, but its better then waiting for it in the mail, and then mailing it back. Things go pretty quickly once you get your AOS Bill in the mail and the DS-3032 is accepted.

I don't know why but i see the form DS-3032 and there's a note there: "Please complete the form. Changes CAN NOT be saved. Print the form if you want to keep a copy with your information" how can I email the form with my information? Do I need a new version of any program?? which program do I need? please

I've been watching and the file has a password, How can I remove it?

Thank you very much for your answers, i feel better now.. i've been reading and i think i will Email the DS-3032 tomorrow, but i have a question, Do i need to receive the DS-3032 by mail and then should I Email the form, or it's OK just with the AVR " DS-3032 has been sent on feb 26th..." ??? and what about the barcode??? is not necessary?

We finally got the choise of agent form approved

Good day,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has updated the address. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing address, email address (if applicable), or change in personal situation, which may affect the beneficiary's entitlement to a visa.

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated agent on the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions before the instruction packet will be sent.
