getting the embassy runaround???what to do?

HELP yardies....i need some help or at least some commiseration..... The Embassy is jerking us around...an i ain't talking chicken. We've been waiting to get the interview date. He had the ds230 delivered DHL on 12-9....and a month later they say, it's never been delivered. they say to give it another week...maybe the election, maybe the weather....whatever...so, we finally get it together and he delivers, hand delivers the damn forms this time. and we wait. and i call and check and .........no, they have no receipt of his forms. WHat??? so he calls ...and is told that yes, they have it....just wait till it gets processed and we will get the letter with the date for interview. it's now been 14 days and still no interview date. the email response...no form. my calls daily....no form received. So what the friggin F ck do we do, besides wait some more???? Has anyone experienced this? anyone got ideas? any one as pissed as me ? Yardz....? culture1

culture, don't bother will calling no, but keep e-mailing. We went through the same thing, but I was presistent and I kept sending an e-mail every other day until I got a response. Basically, they got sick of me and in one day they responded to 4 of my e-mails in less than an hour. When you do send an e-mail let them know this either your 2nd request or your 50th request in the subject line. When I was at Window A during our interview, they lady that took our paper work, said, I finally get to put a face with all those e-mails.

Look how rass lang u a wait pon di people dem...cho man...my cousin got fustrated after he DHL his DS-230 from Mobay, they didn't receive it, she makes an appt, they still didn't receive it, so she sends it DHL from NEW YORK and the get...

I feel the same way on Jan 27 & Jan 28 I got two seperate e-mails asking me if mr jengs adjusted staus , since we are doing a k-4 visa for two of his girls. I answered them with the same answer NO. On the 29th they verified that they had recieved the documents which had been sitting there for ten days and I must check back from "time to time" to see if an date had been assignedt three weeks and two e-mails later with the last e-mail stating 3rd request I get a response back in three hours asking the same dyamn question. Has your hubby adjusted status. I refered them to the two e-mails below in the chain dated Jan 27th and Jan 28 and told them I was unsure why I was being asked the same question over and over again. I've been sending e-mails once a week but maybe I should go to every other day

girl i told them i was getting tired of answering the same question I have no patience. anyhoo i had mr jengs send them an e-mail stating he wants all three of them to adjust status at the same time. and that the living arrangement with their grandmother was only temporary.

Culture - what does DOS say when you call them? Are they they ones that say no forms received? My suggestion is to just keep emailing them. Squeaky wheel gets the grease...

3 months - are you kidding me?!?!? I would write back and ask them if they are implying it will take 3 months to schedule an interview. Also, call DOS and be firm with them - they can do an inquiry for you and send a message to the embassy. Third, I would call the embassy and speak to someone and don't hang up until you get some kind of answer - we have been succesful with this # 876-702-6450.
