i got married and so i placed that i would place marriage last name.

but honestly i don't want to. i LOVEEEE my last name.

would it bring problems in the AOS if i carry my last name and and his, his??

You can do what ever you want

Take his name, keep your own, hyphenate, Immigration doesn't care.

Just fill out your 'new' name on your AOS, and put your 'old' name in the 'other names' box.

If you keep your own name, one less box to fill out.

ETA: you just need to stay consistent. If you write a name on your AOS, stick to that name for everything, bank, SS etc.

because i know i said i would change it and it is stated on the marriage certificate

but everythingggggg i have is under my maiden name and since

im my fathers only daughter when i finish my undergrad i would love to see my last name

in resemblance to him on my degree

If you don't change your name with the university, then that's how they will print your diploma. You can still go by your married name for other things if you like.

but i get financial aid.

so if i am to change my name on my social then i have to change the name on the fafsa and then the school so they can have all names in record.

i just prefer to leave it as it is.

If your last name on the certificate is your husband name, than that is your LEGAL name. You have to use on in relation to the USCIS documents.

NO..... this is a time when you can choose which name you want to use on your Green Card. My wife kept her maiden name, and during the AOS interview this month, she was asked which name she wanted to use and she chose to take my last name. Hope this helps...

If you want to save your maiden name, you need to change name on your marriage certificate.

Everything must be under the same name.
