Oh Yuck...got a RFE email on the i-485 forms

I never thought I would see this sort of email. o.O

Do people often get RFEs on the i-485? I thought I did a good job on the packet...I put everything I would think they need! Of course, at the moment, I can't remember what the packet consisted of...

He got his EAD a few weeks ago though...

How long do RFE letters take to get in the mail? I am not patient when it comes to mail. Are we allowed to call & ask? I can't remember if the USCIS reps would know any info on RFEs.

Could it be a request for an updated W2...because 2007's W2 didnt meet the income requirements...goodness I hope that is the case! :/

Sorry to hear you got the RFE, however just wait for the actual letter to arrive so you can see exactly what they are asking for. Be prepared it can be the fact you didn't meet the income requirements and once the letter arrives you can then see what you need to submit.

Yeah I know, but it's just the whole waiting game bit for the letter...

Different subject...do they check into peoples' credit history? I know they didnt before...just didnt know if they changed rules!
