Sorry for your RFE. If it makes you feel any better, it seems like about half of AOS submissions these days are getting RFE's, but also there are many cases being transferred to CSC after the RFE is sorted out. Hope you'll be on the same track!

So do I... I really have no clue what they could want. The only thing I can think of is they want all three years of tax transcripts... I dont like this suspense. How long did you have to wait before it arrived in the mail?

I never got e-mail notification, so we were surprised by the letter in the post. I think folks usually receive it within a week.

I know! It said they had sent it on 15th so there was a chance we might have got it today but now we have to wait until at least Monday to find out. Once we know what it is at least then we can take some action.

Hope it works out for us all...and soon!

Sorry about your RFE I know what it feels like :( (very angry lol). I got one for my I-130 and they wanted our real marriage certificate. Not a big deal. It justscares u when u see it in the portfolio because of star thinking of everything. It can be anything. It usually takes 3-4 days to receive it.

I always made photocopies of each completed form and evidence I submitted. If u do the same, start checking them and u might find out what they need :D

Good Luck!!!

I thought I had everything they could possibly ask for.

...

You probably did. It could be their mistake. Of course, you have to give them what they ask for. :(

Thanks everyone.

I am hoping it comes tomorrow because I am going nuts! I think they wait to tell you on Fridays on purpose just to ruin your weekend ;)

I am trying not to think about it, but you know, once you think up all the scenarios in your head, its hard not to. It was sent on the 14th so I should be getting it soon.

That sucks. The thing that I hate about it is the suspense in waiting for it to know what it is.

Hi, I would like to say that don't worry about that, just be patient. Here is a very good example. My husband and I filed all applications on December 22, 2005 and all NOAS' date are Dec. 28, 05. We were requested for an additional evidence as well for I485, seem like my husband couldn't support me in the first place.(because of self employed matter) Finally my husband sent his W-2 of year 2006 to them, and then they received it on Jan. 31, 2006. Actually, before we sent our response back, we received the biometrics' appointment for I-130 and I-485, and both biometrics were done on Feb. 8, 2006. Since that day we hadn't heard anything until June 15, 2006 by checking the update information online. My I765 case just got approved on that day(June 15, 2006) and on that message they said that the approval notice was mailed on that day. And you know, what I got when I came back home, I got EAD card and the interview letter for I-485. You probably don't know what my husband and I did, I did call the customer service for three times(for live people), my husband called them about 3 times(quite useless), I did infopass for 3 times(I got the interim work permit twice, and one officer emailed something to National Service for my I765 case, he said that it's too long), my husband and I did write one letter to our congressman for following up of the I765 case. Wow, it's been almost 6 months. We believed that we had been forgotten until we did something, what I'm trying to tell you is if you still haven't gotten anything and you have passed 90 days, just do something, my guess is once they open our file of any cases, they may realize that oh oh...."this couple has been forgotten", and then they might want to try to clean up their shelves. Actually, I didn't expect the interview letter for I-485, I just expected my EAD card, because I felt like it was too long for this approval. But wow, I also got my interview letter too, what a wonderful day!!!! But believe me I've been through a lot of stuff about this matter, this stuff always effected my days before. Just do something, keep trying, keep calling and keep following up. Now, I still don't know, who helped us!!! But it's OK!!! Good Luck!!! Sorry for my long post. Hang in there!!!

Oh, it's me again, I forgot to tell all you guys that, my status online for I-485 still hasn't been updated, the date is still on Feb 20, 2006.
