I am from the Tampa, FL area, and my fiance is from San Fernando, La Union. Somebody above mentioned a "Jollibee" coming to Jax'ville? Lol.  And there are many Filipinas here who cant wait for her arrival.

I am not too far from there (Naples) and my fiancee is from Tandag in NE Mindanao.  When are you expecting your fiancee to arrive? I am hoping April or May, but USCIS has slowed down.

I am going there for my 1st visit in late April to early May. I will file my i129F when I get back in May, after that, its anybody's guess when she'll arrive. I know this, I cant be soon enough:D

Good luck. I visited in late September through early November, and was very glad I did. First visit. Had a great time getting to know my fiancee in person. Private message me if you want to talk more.

Nene's from Balamban, a small city on the Western side of Cebu Province, opposite Cebu City.

I'm from Plymouth, Massachusetts, the place where the 2nd group of immigrants from Europe came to settle America in 1620.

Not second group. And Jamestown wasn't the first. St Augustine Florida for example was founded over 40 years before Jamestown.

St Auggy was founded in 1565, and since it was a Spanish colony, it looks a lot like the older parts of the PI. Your Filipina will feel right at home. Y'all should come down for a visit sometime. It really is quite nice. :)

Hi! I am from Metro Manila, the bustling capital of the Philippines. However, my mom is originally from the wonderful home of Mount Mayon, Bicol. I had visited Bicol a few times and I would commend the scenery and the peacefulness of the place.
