Comedians aren't elected officials. You expect an elected official to be fair to all his/her constituents, no such expectation exists of Chapelle or Mencia.

This is true. Subjective questions over whether or not the image itself contains "humor", there is surely no contest to the idea that a supposedly responsible elected officials shouldn't be attracting that sort of controversy.

I'm surprised that wasn't part of the image - the new KFC wing of the white house. Disgusting - and idiotic on so many levels; most notably that Obama isn't from the South, so from that perspective its actually rather meaningless to apply stereotypes to him that suggest that he is.
