Hi everybody,

It's been awhile since I've been on here about this. Partly cause the uscis said we had to wait x number of monthes to pursue the missing card and because of my fathers lengthy illness and passing along with mom's cancer returning. But anyway, I don't know what to do next except to call them up and see when or if they are going to supply the new card to replace the one that never showed up.

When we first figured they had lost the card we ended up trying to find out by writing them and got no answer. (Big Surprise there huh!)

So when we got a lawyer friend thats a immigration lawyer they responded to us with another personal interview where we were informed we had not supplied enough evidence for our relationship to remove the restrictions on her green card. (Made no sense to me since I was only lifting the restrictions and it mentioned nothing about evidence of relationship that I remember but that was a well over a year ago)

If anyone has an idea to help I'm open to it. Wife's out of the country back in the Philippines using a visa stamped passport that the USCIS stamped at the window to take the place of having a green card.

Thanks,

Tim

You are supposed to submit a lot of evidence for an ongoing relationship when you apply to remove conditions.

You have to read the guides and to talk to your lawyer friend, because you obviously do not understand the process and can easily get into serious trouble (like get GC denied).

CR-1 Timeline

March'07 NOA1 date, case transferred to CSC

June'07 NOA2 per USCIS website!

Waiver I-751 timeline

July'09 Check cashed.

Jan'10 10 year GC received.
