Good lord! A girl could get dehydrated!

On a more serious note, I mentioned choccy digestives to my work compadres before leaving on my UK trip. They laughed and mocked me, saying that they couldn't understand why a biscuit could be called a "digestive" and taste nice.

I brought back a couple of packs and took them into work. Oh how I laughed when they devoured them like a bunch of hyenas chowing down on 5 newborn kittens.

As a fan of digestive aids of all kinds, I was thrilled to discover Digestive biscuits initially, thinking that they were like fiber wafers but with deliciousness. Although I was disappointed to discover that they're not actually high in fiber, they sure are tasty! Especially the ones w/ the chocolate side.

I would really love some nice, proper English back bacon. I think I will get some from the English Pork Pie Company when I get back from DC. They are right here in Buffalo, so I can just pop in and buy some, plus they have a nice range of sausages, pork pies, sausage rolls, etc.

The really cool thing is that there was a nice write-up of them in the Buffalo News yesterday:

If any of you have a craving, I can assure you that the sausage rolls and pork pies are spectacular!
