Nah, we can always find ####### to talk about! I'm anticipating the loss of a husband tomorrow once the World Cup starts. He thinks the US has a good chance but I'm not as optimistic as he is. The fact that the US and England are in the same bracket doesn't help the US' chances in my opinion.

I happen to think that it's going to be a hard won match for either side on Saturday...US has a good team, and look at what happened the last time they met up in the World Cup.

Not to mention England's penchant for choking at the most inappropriate time!

Go USA! heheheh

It's a group not a bracket :innocent: and the top two in the group qualify for the next round. If the US can't finish above Turkey and Slovenia it will be a pretty piss poor show indeed.

SO sorry to have gotten the term wrong. At least you were somehow able to figure out what I meant.

Ha! It's sort of a no lose situation for me. I don't care much either way, nor does hubby oddly enough. He doesn't feel more 'loyal' to the English team just because he's from there (I figured he would but alas!).

Well, you're cute no matter what you're posting about. :D

I'm in NYC today, having arrived last night after a 14 hour train ride from Toronto. Even though it was shattering, I have to say that 14 hours on a train is considerably more comfortable and goes faster than 14 hours on a plane. Maybe it was the fact I could use my phone, the seats were roomy, I could walk around at will, no one was sitting next to me, but it wasn't that bad in retrospect. I've done longer train journeys -- my honeymoon (first) was a trip across America. New Haven-Boston; Boston-Chicago; Chicago-Denver; Denver-San Francisco (well, Oakland, but we stayed in Marin County). I'd love to do that again someday.

I can talk about yours if you like. Do you prefer Prep H or Tucks?

Actually, I've never used Tucks, but remember the ad that showed a Tucks pad putting out a match?

I have some CVS brand Prep H. It seems to do the trick.

I actually haven't had a major 'roid problem for a few months because I've been very careful about the fiber. Howevah, it's always a great topic for discussion!

Yes, 'roids and constipation are always riveting topics of conversation. Please, do elaborate.

This stuff is awesome:

In that it tastes delicious or is very effective?

It's quite palatable and provides that trademark Metamucil *zing!* If only they had a non-sugar-free version, it would be perfect. For now, I must settle whatever artificial sweetener they put in it.
