Oh...I forgot to mention that Jon's mum has procured baby's first blanket. She went to some outdoor film festival and they were giving away Stella (Artois) blankets. So, little Limita so far has a beer-themed blanket and a demented lamb.

Nothing like that at either shower, so I'm thrilled!! I still keep getting a lot of 'sleep now' and 'you have no idea what you're in for' kind of comments - but that's what I hear every day so nothing new there....

In other news, Jon thinks it would be funny if we dressed her mostly in black (onesies and such, preferably w/ skull & crossbones).

A couple of weeks ago, we visited friends of ours who had their first kid last October. The mom is quite a relaxed personality and talked matter-of-factly about their parenting experiences so far, but the dad is rather hyper and is prone to verbal diarrhea. He kept saying to Jon, "You're EXACTLY where I was a year ago! I was so clueless! I couldn't even imagine..." blah blah blah. And he actually said to me, "Your body image is TOTALLY going to change!" #######? A guy is telling me this? All I could think of to say was, "Yeah, that's my modeling career down the toilet."
