I now qualify as a crazy cat lady. My kitten (nearly a cat now) loves his wet food, and he gets about 2 tbps of it a day because that's as much as he will eat. However, he is fussy about the size of the morsels. If it's a flaky fish, sometimes the flakes are large and he will leave them behind, thus wasting food. In an effort to economise and provide him with a more satisfying dining experience, last night I cut these large morsels with a knife and fork. With a knife and fork, people! They were plastic utensils, but still, I am now officially nuts.

Who cuts their cat's food up before serving? Me, apparently.

My cat eats dry kibble only. That wet food makes me gag. So, yes, you are indeed a crazy cat lady.

Reminiscing about first posts - I remember mine was to ask what Advanced Parole meant. I had read the K1 guide, the pros/cons and just didn't know what they meant by that term. I also remember getting very frustrated with Yodrak in my early days, but now I get the 'method to his madness' and we are actually friends w/ each other on Facebook. HA.

My first post was about how do you keep sane in this process? I had been lurking for a week or so and was so scared to ask a real question I decided to ask something milquetoast. I had wanted to ask what a 'touch' was, but in retrospect this would have been a very bad idea, considering I was doing DCF and I would have been told "you don't get touches, b!tch", probably by meauxna. (meauxna later gave me some awesome hair care advice I am grateful for.)

I read a lot for months before I ever joined VJ. Then I read a lot more before I ever posted. I love how some people on VJ haven't even completed one step of the journey and yet they a experts on all types of immigration issues. And they joined yesterday.

Remember the "one month waiting" thread on VJ? And how we mocked it mercilessly? That was trumped the other week by the person who was getting their congressman involved in "speeding things up" and they hadn't even filed a single form.
