But... but... but, I filed through London, but there were no UK citizens whatsoever involved. I guess I'll make myself a thread for non-UK citizens going through DCF between the months of Jan-June of 2008. ........... :cry:

Ireland's close enough to the UK for you to be able to post here Pointy. :) Heck, Ireland is attached to part of the UK! :D

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

The bread and bacon are piss poor over here.

When the husband and I went to England a couple of years ago, he smuggled back some English bacon--in my suitcase (without my knowledge, of course). It was frozen and wrapped in several layers of tin foil. He called me his "bacon mule." Hmm...

I can make damn good bread now! My American relatives all go "wow, what kind of bread is that"? I answer its called proper bread with no added sugar.

High Fructose Corn Syrup! It's killing America and its the biggest scandal since, well I dont know!

As for bacon dont touch the stuff over here, probably never will eat bacon again! Well except when I visit the UK.

Oh and dont get me started about chocolate! Well they just aint got a clue! Hersheys is foul beyond belief!

By the way dont get me wrong I am happy over here, happier than I have ever been in my life!!!
