HI...hope anyone could give me some info especially my fellow filipinas... Im gonna be in Alabama next month (if i pass the interview for K1 application) and i wonder if the BON in AL requires foreign nurses' transcript be authenticated in the Philippines first. That's actually something new in Philippines..that the Commision on Higher Education (CHED) requires all nursing graduates to have their transcript authenticated (that, if they intend to work abroad which includes all other countries). But in my case, since i will be having a visa (w/c is a fiance visa not working visa anyway), i am not quite sure if the BON in AL would require the transcripts to be authenticated first? I'm guessing that the "authentication" thing only applies to those who will be working as nurses outside the Phippines with WORKING VISA ONLY. anyone knows?? Hope you could spare sometime.. THANK YOU!
