Do you really think they are going to believe that you are not going to study OR work?? I would tell the truth always but word it in a way to focus on the fact that your purpose for entering the US is to marry your fiancee.

Just my opinion.

Why is not planning to study or work so difficult to believe? If that is the case then answer accordingly.

And that's why I qualified that statement with the following statement, "I would tell the truth always". How many women (or men) never work or go to school a day in their lives? Spouse would have to be pretty rich for that (and they would know if the spouse is rich or making quite a bit of money from the affidavit of support papers).

I think if you really wanted to know more about your case, just try calling embassy call center it is more accurate. I did check my case number from that link and still shows that my Case Number Not Found on Appointment List which is not true because I just finished my interview last week .

Well they changed the page and it is no longer there, nor the info on the packets. I didn't try it but I assume Joel's direct link still works.

WEEEEEEE i just finished calling the US Embassy in manila! They said they have received my files last august 10. i just wanted to share with you guys. im so excited. the lady on the phone said that the paperwork is now in line for review and scheduling for interview. Waiting period would be about 90-120 days. im hoping it would be sooner but this is good news she said to call back again in a month to find out the interview date...
