MLT,

A week or two after NOA2, you will receive a letter via snail mail from the Bureau of Consular Affairs. Manila case number will be indicated in that letter.

Watch the time and your mailbox! :clock:

Thanks, PW! I'm heading over to Quezon City in about three weeks and I'd like to have all my ducks in a row. This police clearance from Japan could be the sticker, so I want to request it as soon as I can.

Ok I'm tired of searching, maybe I'm not that good. There is a lot of info on the I-130 application but I don't seem to find much on the interview documentation.

What are the original documents needed for CR-1 interview in Manila? I put copies of the originals I sent with the I-130 and some originals from what I sent copies of in a manila envelope and for the life of me I can't find it. :crying: I'm just afraid there was something in there very difficult or impossible to replace.

Here's what I recall:

  1. Tax forms and W-2's (1 year but taking 3 just to be sure)
  2. Affidavit of support - I will get another original even though original was submitted
  3. Letter from employer and recent check stubs
  4. Interview letter of course
  5. NSO marriage certificate
  6. NSO birth certificate
  7. NBI clearance - this is one thing I can't remember if I submitted copy or original. I'm pretty sure it was the original.
  8. Copy of wife's passport bio page
  9. 2? pictures passport type
  10. My divorce decree?
  11. Proof of relationship - We will have proof of joint bank account (Chase will let me put my wife on the account even if not present/resident), tax forms of course, wedding pictures, a few letters (most of our communication is on phone or yahoo)
  12. Many, MANY ATM receipts :)
  13. Something from CFO seminar?

Ok my brain hurts. Please anyone add or edit the list for me? Plzzz?

Joel and Analyn,

I'm not too familiar with the CR-1 process, but maybe you can also print out copies of emails you sent to each other, chat logs or call logs from Yahoo Messenger, receipts of hotel bills in the hotels you stayed in together and records of your telephone bills.

GREAT! Congratulations!!!!

That's good news for all of us recent NOA2 folks - you got your interview just over 2 months from NOA2 and breezed through the interview with success! My NOA2 was 8/3/06, so I'm hoping that a little of your good fortune rubs off so that my Lirio can be here well before Christmas (gives us almost 5 months) and if we are real lucky, maybe she'll be here in November!

Again, congrats and best of luck...when do you travel?

B) Thanks for the reply!

My fiance has booked a flight already and is coming here to be with me on my interview. :D:dance:

With all the hassle that I have about my dubai police clearance, his presence will be very comforting for me.
