Do you guys know of any case where the girl failed to present a police clearance from another country that she's stayed in for more than six months?

If so, was she still approved, or was denied, or was put on AR?

I am quite bothered by this. Apparently, i can't be issued a Dubai Police clearance because my UAE residence visa is not yet cancelled till now. :(

I found a Department of State supplemental information sheet that says you won't need the police clearance from U.A.E. as they are only available to those residing there and apply in person.

thanks for that marlene! you are a heaven sent!:star:

I am allowed to go home every year, with a free ticket. But as i had some personal emergency and couldn't wait for my annual leave, i bought my own ticket and went home. Sounds stupid now, but at that time, my fiance and i thought it was best for me to go home.

thank you so much for that post! i have almost lost hope and was really depressed these past few days. my fiance was constantly calling just to cheer me up.

Problem is, they still have not updated it for anything past august. they may be replacing that list with the case number lookup but that doesn't work either according to some other people and I verified myself it's not working.

I think the best thing that Yna can do right now is to call the customer service hotline, that's where you can get the most real-time info from your case.
