If you've never been outside of the Philippines, you only need the NBI clearance. Preferably dated 6months before your interview date.

Hi I'm just new here just want to ask do I still need to have a police clearance... I believe it's only needed if you have been outside the country right...

Hey, that is a good deal for a round trip ticket. Can you share what consolidatior you used? :D I'm looking for the cheapest ticket I can find for a trip back to the Phils.

I purchased our tickets on Northwest Airlines. Her ticket, one way from Manila to Oklahoma city was $900. I purchased mine thru a consolidator for $975 round trip.

I guess we all should have bought stock with overseas carriers. I dont want to buy the airplane, i just want to sit in the seat for 12 hrs or so! The moths are eating big holes in my wallet but im not alone. Top Ramen, Top Ramen, here we come. How do you all find these reasonable rates? I fly PAL, because the total flight time is less, no connections (sometimes stop in Guam for fuel, but if light load will go nonstop) My last trip in Jan.- off the ground in Mnl- on the ground at lax- 11.5 hrs flat. Going west to mnl is always alot longer. (fighting headwinds), but coming home 565mph plane speed+ 233 mph jet stream. you figure mph across the ground! But PAL isnt the cheapest, I just checked yesterday, RT lax-mnl 1020. - 1070., but i will have enough miles for a free roundtrip next time. Any thoughts, let me know please. Jeff

What I mean is if it's ok if I, the beneficiary, will call and ask about the information on our case or it should be the petitioner's job? I just wanted to call them myself since my petitioner is having some problem with his telephone connection at the moment. Thanks!

I know, the problem is I'm currently working and it's so darn hard to avail some days off. I already got plans lined up for the month of March and that includes getting police certificates from all places where I've resided. The best time for me to take CFO is mid April or later, that would give my fiance enough time to send me all the necessary documents for my later use. Thanks anyway for the suggestion :thumbs:

Hi guys! Do you know any hotel which is near the St Luke's Medical Center? I checked Pan Pacific but its booked. Im gonna be having my medical next month with my 3 yrs old son and I would just want to spend the night in a hotel rather than going back and forth from Angeles City. Any input will be very much appreciated, thanks.

You can go to asiatravel.com. They show all the hotels near the embassy and SL. If you wait til next month the room rental will probably be a little higher. You can go any time to get the medical as long as your interview is scheduled. Make sure you are not having your menstral cycle when you go.
