Brad,

Rosemarie might want to try:

Blue Horizons Travel and Tours, Inc.

Check out their website. They're professional and reputable. My youngest sister used to work with Blue Horizon's main office in Makati for a few years before she left for a job in Mexico. One of the board of directors, Frank Attwood, is also my son's godfather.

Please let me know if Rosemarie will contact them so I can let them know in advance.

Hi PW, (remember me.......)

Anyway im just confused and wanna asked something..... ive done everything OK now from embassy and got visa and ticket already, but got some problems toward church thing that makes me stay aback here still in manila. I and my son hadn't got chance to flew with my fiance ryan last Apr 3.

My question is ...... the visa which is the embassy granted to me, is valid 6 months before to enter US? meaning... i could stay in manila 182 days and shud enter US on or before 183 days??? and when i enter in US my first day in immigration will be the start of the 90 days???

I guess churhch thing will delay me stayin put in manila, in able for me and my fiance do the church wedding in US.... same as problem with mizz in other thread .. its about indoctrination of my finace.

thanks..again and again.... thought my visa journey begins...... but its still on delay :blush:

:help: My wife will be having her Medical Exam on April 20th. While she HAS had her shots, she comes from a very rural province and they do not have records of her vaccinations. Since she cannot provide proof or records of these shots, I'm sure she'll have to have them again at St. Lukes. Will these cost extra or is that included in the $95 medical fee? ....if so, how much?

Thanks for any responses.

Hey Scott, I replied to your PM to me regarding this question. You probably did not see it.

At any rate, the $95 medical fee includes all the shots. However, your fiancee will be required to get a second dose of varicella after two months either here or in the US. My family doctor gave me my second shot and it cost me P2,500 or about $50. Another shot which they call "Td" is not available here and will have to be taken in the US.

Rebel, I'll type up a reply in a little while. And siempre pa, I remember you!

Hi Rebel,

K1 visa is valid for six (6) months from issue date. Six months is normally counted as 180 days. So you have 180 days within which to make your US entry. If you feel that you are going to be delayed, you can request Manila Embassy for another visa to be issued. Please click on the ff. link http://usembassy.state.gov/posts/rp1/wwwh3204.html

“What if the fiance(e) must delay arrival in the U.S.?

The K1 visa is valid for a maximum of six months. If the visa bearer is unable to leave for the United States immediately and the visa expires, a new one may be issued upon written request to the Embassy and the payment of another application and processing fee of $100.”

I strongly suggest, however, for you to call the Embassy to confirm if the option to extend is still available. It is wise to always double check any info posted on their website.

And yes, the day of US entry is the day we start counting the 90-day period.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/ty...es_1315.html#9d

"What Must Happen After Getting the Fiancé(e) Visa?

After getting the fiancé(e) visa, your fiancé(e) enters the U.S. through a U.S immigration port-of-entry. The U.S. immigration official gives your fiancé(e) instructions on what to do when he/she enters the United States. You must get married within 90 days of your fiancé(e)’s entry into the United States.”

Updated to congratulate the successful interview of Caillen's fiance.

Just adding some info's............... my elder sister works as PI Immigration officer

TO THOSE who going to travel with their child as LEGITIMATE means that the child BC showed up father's name or was after to father's surname even they were seperated or annuled. You need to bring permit to travel of your kid from DSWD ( you should arrange this with DSWD offices, its a must) or.....

if you bringing your ILLEGITIMATE child means...... BC is was under mother's maiden name and father's name "NOT" showed up in BC, you just bring a copy of child BC - NSO paper that should be submitted to the immigration window for your departure from Manila airport....

or else ..... you will stucked at the immigration office of NAIA airport for possible check and asking alot of documents and even possible fee's payments.

I was in NAIA immigration office when my fiance flew back alone to Georgia, all i could see in there were people trying to leave the country with lack of documents for their childs ... even in arrival terminal... alot of balikbayans relatives bringing nieces or grands kids here in manila.. without proper documentation, were staying put in immigration office. Some officer specially those who where very strict .... they will try to asked you to call the father or mother of the kids and be present at the NAIA immigration to pick the kid or pay big amount of fee's and maybe onhold child passport.

The NAIA Immigration Office were very very strict right now, bcos they have one incidence that one officer misgranted departed person with kid with lack of documents.... so they were in strict rules now on bringing kids outside PI.

Im not giving some false hopes to anyone, just reminding that we should be more attentive and cautious. If we want to have smooth results, we should do the smooth and proper processing and completed documents.

regards

rebelheart

Hi jose and everyone here!

How's helen? does she manage to fly to illinois now? As for me i passed everything in Embassy before helen, but me and my fiance got some delays from church here in manila, they dont want me to fly with Ryan last Apr. 3 , so im still here in manila but i already rebooked my ticket and my son Lloyd on Apr 25. It's more into culture thing in Manila, my church here thinks that im eloping with an american guy and im tried living-in together, so wer just waiting and trying to obey church. But im keen to fly to ATL by 3rd week of April with my son.

-rebelheart-

rebel are you saying your church made you change your flight because it didnt approve of your current wedding plans ???? im goin assume this is a protastant religion not catholic???? even if either it seems a little extreme to make you change your flight. and by no means am i tryin to insult your faith , im just in shock that your church would ask you to do this. i was raised catholic myself ,but will marry out of my church for yove's faith. my church may not be happy, but have set down no demands on me nor did yoves church do so on her. seems a little extreme for a church to make you alter your flight
