4/18/06 - Proposed to her at Baloy Beach Resort, Zambales, Subic Bay

4/27/06 - Sent to Nebraska Service Center

5/02/06 - I-129F Filed

10/17/06 - Petition approved in California Service Center and sent to NVC in New Hampshire

12/11/06 - NVC New Hampshire Received Case (FINALLY)!!!!!!

12/12/06 - Called today and got our MNL2006845xxx

12/19/06 - Case Arrive in Manila

02/28/07 - K-1 Packet arrived to my sweety

03/26/07 - CFO Seminar/needs to go back to after interview for sticker

03/29/07 - St Lukes Medical.

04/03/07 - Arrived for second time to be with my sweetheart....

04/11/07 - Interview Date----PASSED with flying colors......St Lukes was a little pain..but we fought em...

05/12/07 - My baby and I got home today POE Seattle Flight home arrived at 11:45AM.

Flight from Manila to Seoul was great, then a 12 hour layover in Seoul, that sucked big time. Flight to Seattle from Seoul was long and the plane was warm too. Once we got to Seattle it was so worth it.

06/08/07 - Got married in Everett WA

07/19/07 - Filed for AOS

10/15/07 - NOA for AOS

12/06/07 - Interview for Green Card approved in Seattle, good for 2 years.

12/18/07 - Green Card in the mail...wooo hoooo...will apply in 2 years for conditions removal.

07/01/08 - We had our first baby..Renae Sofia Reynolds 8 lbs 3oz-C-Section.

I heard from Mari and we are approved! In fact ALL the VJers were approved today! Seems like February is "Clear The Backlog!" month. :lol:

Congrats to all the new Visa holders!!

Mari said her interview was very easy. The final interviewer was nice and friendly. He even allowed her to arrange for Visa pick-up at the embassy. Sometimes things can go just as you hope.

Also, Mari had a great time at the dinner the night before. She really enjoyed being in such a warm and friendly group!! I wish I could have been there and lifted a glass with all of you. Thanks Gary for hosting!! I'm looking forward to seeing the pics.

Mari and I are so grateful for this site and the great contributions from so many people. We couldn't have done this without ya!!

Looks like it's been a pretty good day in the Manila Embassy Interview Thread.

PW, with you and all the others receiving their interview dates.

Gary & Luz receiving their visa approval. hope the same for Ken&Maria and Thersch.

I got home from Manila today and I just want to thank everyone here for all the information and support! Y'guys rock! I had my interview last Feb 15 and I GOT APPROVED :dance::dance::dance:

Was also able to meet Ate Lucy and Jessa (Dave_ehssa) at the US Embassy. I wanted to go to the dinner party but we transferred hotel which was in Makati and I didnt know how to get to the place.. lol Mari and Ate Ana asked me to come and so did Karen. Sorry I missed it guys.. sorry Kar3n hehe

Anyways, AWHOLELOTABUNCH Of THANKS!!! :dance:

Could you add our names under the CR1 Visa Please.Called NVC last night and found out our CR1 was complete and no e-mails,updates, nothing. So anyway. I-130 approved 9-29-06

Hi Wes!

Jinky had her interview at 7am. She could provide more details, but she told me she was given a number and there were a lot of people already waiting. She was the second one called, however (she thinks they give priority to those with children). The Filipino pre-interviewer was male and very nice. He asked a series of questions and he asked for some of the photos of us together. Her CO officer was also very nice - he asked her how we met and when we first met in person, asked about what type of work I do just trying to get a sense of our relationship. She showed him a photo album she put together and inside with the pictures she had placed my boarding passes, receipts, etc. She said she just went in there with confidence and it ran very smoothly - she was out of there within 2 hours or less, but she did say that most everyone else was still there when she left.

We did fret over the preparation and I do think that it is extremely important that you go in prepared with all the necessary documentation, but beyond that, just be yourselves and you'll be fine! :star:

My K3 visa interview went well. They saw that I am goin to have my CR1 interview on March 22 so they told me to just pursue the CR1 instead of the K3. They did not grant my request for the CR1 interview yesterday as my papers are not yet at the Manila Embassy.

3. How did you meet?

4. Who lives with him?

5. What does he do for a living?

Hahaha.. I know! I had all the papers with me but they didnt really ask me a lot of docs. I was like "What??!, No dude! you take everything i have whether you like it or not!" - No just kidding :lol: but i wanted to tell him that because i worked so hard preparing everything lol..

Anyways, my interview was 7:30 so i didnt go early (as i read some post b4 that 7:30 scheds need not to come early because they wont be allowed in anyway).I just stayed at the Bayview Hotel which was right across US Embassy and got at USE around 7:00am. When we got there, we were asked to stay at the waiting area where there were chairs and people trying to scare you that your picture is no good and that you have to take another one :o If you think your picture is fine, just dont listen to them.

Just prepare your appointment letter and valid id as the guard will check these before u can go inside.

When we were inside, a guy oriented us about the process and instructed us about what to write (answers) on our forms:

No Blanks.. If you dont have any answer to a question, write NONE or N/A. never leave a Blank on the DS 156.

On the DS156k- just write the name of the Fiance/Fiancee on the space "I hereby certify......and intend to marry________" but they didnt ask us to sign and i signed this after the Filipino (pre-interview) interviewed me.

and they asked us to file the forms in the following order:

DS157 - with the validation from the bank

DS156K

and dont staple your pictures. Glue or paste them

Then the guard asked us to line on the left side booth (beside the entrance door) where they got all our forms and if you filled everything correctly, they will give you a number.. Its a tiny piece of paper, so you better not lose this coz this will be you number the whole time.

Then they called my name and proceeded to window 16 for finger scanning.

Then I waited again for like 30 nerve wracking minutes then i was called to window 16 again. At this point, I was like "why am i being called? was there something wrong with my finger scanning because instead of my number showing up on the que board, i was called!!" When i got to the window, this Filipino guy had all my papers with him (forms and the 129f if im not wrong).

I got relieved when i realized he was the "Pre-Interview" step.. lol So he started asking me question and asking for some docs:

BC

NBI

Affidavit of Support but he didnt take the pay stubs, he gave it back to me

and Pictures

He asked the ff quest'ns:

Name of petitioner

How we met?

When? Month and year?

My bday?

His Bday?

asked if my BC is late registered- NO

If my fiance has been married - NO

If he has kids - NO

My Age - 18 (I WISH) hahaha Kidding aside im 26

His Age - 30 y/o

then he gave me an envelope and asked me to put all my pictures there. and i asked him how about my proof of genuine relationship and ongoing relationship- He said ok so i put everything there.. oh, not everything because its already so thick, it might not slide through so i just didnt put my evidence of meeting. He didnt really ask for all of it, I just wanted to put everything since i worked so hard gathering them.. hahaha

he didnt even ask me of my CENOMAR

then he stamped my DS156K and asked me to sign it. and i saw him wrote "OK" on my docs. that really made me happy

Then I waited for my final interview (roughly it was just around 5 minutes wait and i already saw my number on the queboard).

GOsh, I still can remember how NERVOUS i was (now that im done, i realized we shouldnt really get nervous. but if you are, i understand :) )

The consul was nice. He basically asked me the same questions that the filipino interviewer asked me and just added couple more like:

What does your fiance do?

does he have siblings?

Then he looked at my papers, pictures and phone bills then said "ok, i got everything i need. wait for your number and they will tell you what to do next" and returned the pictures and bills.

whats so weird about it guys and i dont know if those who just got approved noticed this too but while he was still asking me questions, i saw an "approved" pink ink stamped on one of my papers he was flipping through. but i acted as if i didnt see it. what was that?? so after he told me to wait, i just had to ask him if im approved and he smiled and said "yes, you are approved" WHOAAAA!!! i was so ready to pass out lol..

That was my interview experience, hope this helps everyone waiting for their interview.

Just dont worry about it too much girls/guys, aight? you'll be fine ;)

i want thanks all who gave me advice on what-to-do and what-not-to-do..

well, as of now, its really really really really cold..me and my son's lips are already very dry and chapping..skin's very dry too..

hope to meet filipinas here in NICOLLET AVE. ,richfield MN..

well, i believe this is not yet the end of the journey,..but it will be easier now, coz we're already together..
