Hi patiently waiting,

I am so happy words can't express the joy I feel now.. Its funny, becuase I just came home from work and was browsing the internet on my PDA phone, and of course I was on my favorite site here in vj.com

I saw that everyone was getting April interview dates, so I said "what the heck, let me see if our appointment date is there"

So I logged on my computer and went to the manila interview appointment website

I said a quick prayer then entered in my case number and whola!!!!

April 24th!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

My finance was so happy she was speechless on the phone.

I'm so happy we finally have a date, its the best feeling in the world.. It even beats the day we got our NOA2!

So please add me on the list!

Hi guys, had a great time with you all last night. It was really fun, finally I was able to meet everyone!

By the way thank you so much to Maria(Richard&Maria) for allowing me to be with her and for giving me a ride home. It was sweet!

To Gary & Luz (Iniibig ko & LuzyC) for the dinner, food is delicious indeed! Gary your so generous, thank you, while Luz on the otherhand as I discovered the other night is a lot prettier in person, pictures alone doesn't give her the justice she deserves. Hehehehehe!

To Gary & Florenda (garya505) thank you so much for the interview tips as well, I'll try to remember them all.

Guys, Sis Cora(PW) is really smart as she is here and is very outgoing.

Hey Steven, Job is a real “mini-me” of Jinky. Boy, they do look alike.

It was a great feeling to see all you beautiful people last night. It was women’s night as we heavily outnumbered men 3:1. Plus, of course, when the women start talking, there’s nothing the men can do but to just take the photos of the ladies hehehe.

Watch out for the pictures! Gary & Luz will post it in their website soon (Luz, please photoshop the photos that show my gray hair hahahaha)

Can anyone give me some direction on applying for a social security number for my wife? She came on a K3 visa, as we were already married in the Phils. It seems that my bank, life insurance and every place I do business needs a social security number from her.

If she came here on K-3, then she is not "work authorized" and cannot apply for an SSN until she has her work permit or greencard (which ever comes first).

You might want to try reading the working, travelling prior to greencard section for more info, and of course the guides.

I heard from Mari and we are approved! In fact ALL the VJers were approved today! Seems like February is "Clear The Backlog!" month.

Congrats to all the new Visa holders!!

Mari said her interview was very easy. The final interviewer was nice and friendly. He even allowed her to arrange for Visa pick-up at the embassy. Sometimes things can go just as you hope.

Also, Mari had a great time at the dinner the night before. She really enjoyed being in such a warm and friendly group!! I wish I could have been there and lifted a glass with all of you. Thanks Gary for hosting!! I'm looking forward to seeing the pics.

Mari and I are so grateful for this site and the great contributions from so many people. We couldn't have done this without ya!!
