thought i'ld share this. 1 year ago today i called the state department after 12 minutes on hold a nice women answered and checked our information ,and told me that april 18th 2006 was our interview date. i called my atawa waking her up to give her the best valentine present.

lol she couldnt believe it till it was finally posted 2 months later on the embassy web site

now my interview is next week and im getting nervous...worried about a few things:

my fiance is self-employed, he gave me his 3yrs ITR and 3 yrs W-2 plus letter with the letterhead and his position in his own office. He sent his bank statements and a letter also, but in his last 12months statement (up to Dec.), his remaining bal is not that much. He has spent his savings for some important things. Would this affect my interview?

also, age gap would really contribute to AR? worried huhu

My statement was very low also, but the also had list a Average Daily Balance on it. But it was not asked for for our case.

El was asked about our age gap, but we have no idea if that was why we were put under our AR.

I called the embassy on the morning of Feb 14th Philippine time. The lady from 5184 said there was not much of a change, she said the check a few Civil documents at this time.

We are preying it will be released soon!

Good luck on your trip. I wish you the best. I know how that counting is, you are leaving before my baby. She dont fly out until 930a tomorrow, so its 23 hours for us. Its such a relief to finally be counting hours instead of months.

Hello guys,

Yesterday I've called the NVC automated machine to check the status of my CR case and it said that the process is finished and the case was forwarded to Manila Embassy on February 13, 2007.

Now I've checked the MNL IV Schedule and there it was my CR1 interview is schedule on March 22, 2007! I'm very surprise actually. =)

Just want to share it to other VJer's who is waiting for their IV/CR interview you might like to check your status on NVC or IV Schedule.

passports and visas when you check in. you will be given the I-94 during the flight. why don't you check Sheriff Uling's signature so you'll be familar with the I-94. the brown envelope will be given to Immigration when you arrive at your POE.
