Manila Embassy Interview

well for those doing W7 filing, i met with my accountant on sunday. it doesn't seem like he's done many of those so i just told him to look it over and send it w/ anything of the 2006 documents he'll be preparing for me. he also said that my refund may take longer since we can't use the e-file route. i don't mind that at, i just want it done right. he also says that i don't need to put the amount of money that i've been sending to support my wife overseas. filing as married is enough. we'll see what happens at the end of the week when he finishes my taxes. also asked for copies of W2 and 1040 from 2003-2006 to bring with me to the interview.

and my wife completed her St. Lukes medical yesterday. she saw your wife again oakwell and suggested to have a gathering after our interview. i thought it would be great to have a gather with fellow VJ members after the interviews. i'll be flying on feb 24 and we're planning to fly to california either march 15 or 19. good luck on your interview and happy trip this friday

I suppose your wife and i were together at the embassy for the interview but with so much people in the room and I had to attend to my other two children as well, I did not really have time to look around. We arrived at the embassy at 7am and finished at 10am.

Regarding the tickets, I usually buy mine at Northwest, Atheneum Bldg, Makati and I have been able to reserve for them but will buy them only after the visa is oh hand, just to be on the safe side. I got a $748 rate for MSP to MKE for one way and $1400 for round trip. You can pay in pesos or USD.

Keep in touch in case you need some help. You may also call them at 841-8800 to ask when is the last day for option to purchase.

Hi all. I read so many "visa picked up" comments on approvals that I would be grateful if the approvals who picked up their visa could tell me how you requested it and to whom you requested pick up from instead of Delbros delivery? How does the Embassy notify you that the visa is ready for pick-up? If pick-up from embassy is granted do you still pay Delbors fee? Thanks for your responses

My wife will go next week to Manila for her physical at St. Lukes....IF...

She receives the interview notice that I sent her that I received from NSO.

My question is.....

Did you only need to bring the actual interview notice only to your physical?

I'm thinking if she doesn't receive the package I sent her by Monday, I will just fax her a copy of the notice. Unless she also needs the other papers that came with the notice.

Is the interview notice all she needs from that packet 4?

Hey Mike!

Your wife should've received the interview letter with packet 4. From what I understand, they require the actual letter. I would call the Embassy to find out where it is and what she should do. Since the embassy is close to St. Luke's, you could request a copy of the letter and then see if the embassy would let her pick it up in person. In any case, call them.
