Hello everyone,

Yes it's starting March 15, 2006 ( sorry about the year previously mentioned)Cenomar was added as a requirement for submission to the embassy together with all the other documents. Before it's the embassy who will be requesting NSO but last month they changed it again. My friend got approved she is waiting for her visa to be delivered.

ive never seen this off the front page ever was shocked to see it fall off. anyways 14 days left till yove's interview. question she was goin to stay in her province up north. but i think she would get her visa faster staying in her apt, in makati what do the masses think or know ?

I've been asking the same question recently and here's what I found out. Your right, she should get her visa faster if she stays in/close to Manila. From what I understand, the courier (DELBROS) service takes about 3-5 days delivery in Manila, 5-7 to other major cities (Cebu, Legaspi, Bocolad, etc...), and 7-10 days for other provinces. After the interview, when you are paying the courier, you can tell them where you want the visa delivered. Hope that helps. I'm getting excited too, 24 days until my wife's interview!

this made me wonder are they really that unclear. did you pay for Delbros did they say anything that may make you think your under an AR ???? and for those that did get an AR do they tell you that your under review ?????

This is how I understand it to work (anybody, feel free to correct me), in most cases, they make you pay delbros and keep your passport. That alone is no guarantee that you have been approved. Some times it can be delayed while they receive the CENOMAR (upto several weeks) or it could be something else (you just don't know). If you are missing docs then they will give you a white slip of paper (A6 sized) with an itemizied list of docs you need to provide and/or the generic "Wait until you hear from us". If you get that, you know you are on AR. Still, they keep your passport and have you pay delbros.

I have seen a post here (I wish I could find the link) where she paid and gave the PP and several months later still no visa (only the run around - I do think this is a rare case tho).

If you are lucky enough to have a kind Consul who let's you know you're approved or if you can peek to see if he/she grabs the white/green striped sticker or they tell you once you pay delbros then that is even better.

I realize it's only been 3 days since the interview, but everytime we text delbros it's "Still not released" while another girl who had her interview at the same time already got a text from delbros.

For the record, my fiancee was given 1) a pinkslip, 2) Delbros receipt and 3) Delbros customer service questionier.

Hi Wind! We had a pre-trial conference at the court yesterday and another hearing is scheduled on May 23. Looks like I'm gonna be here for a while. How's your fiancee's BC coming along? Have you set another appointment with the embassy?
