well, it s about my NBI clearance...i have one since april 2006, my interview is on feb...do i need to get a new one which is recent and closer to my date of interview?

clearance here in Phil is good for one year, so mine is not expired yet...buut. just want to make sure if the USE would require me a recent one..

Sure but USPS has never delivered anything for me anywhere near on time. The last Global Express I sent (for about $16) was supposed to be delivered in 4-5 business days and took 9 business days.

Hi Fel,

I think I read it somewhere that it should be a recent as 6 months, so I would recommend getting another one just to be on the safe side.

And, just a reminder, the NBI clearance needs to be stamped "for foreign travel" or "for US travel", or something like that.

I have not used it but it is serviced by FedEx Express....they (USPS) pass the letter of to FedEx for service and delivery. So you are better of just using FedEx and paying one fee and have one tracking number....I hope this helps

The Global Express was 9 actual business days, excluding weekend and holidays, for $16. FedEx delivered an 8oz letter pak in 3 business days for $42.

The problem is that once the USPS item gets handed over to Phil Post it slows to a crawl and USPS doesn't have any control over that.

I intend to go for medicals on Jan 10 and 11. I am easy to spot....looks like a Chinese and walk with a limp, and I have 2 teen-aged boys with me who are also doing their medicals. My cellfone is 0918-4128538. I will be at St. Lukes by around 7am. I live in the greenhills area in san juan and I have a car so if she wants to go out for some dinner or tour at night, I am fine.
