Ha! Excitement level is OFF THE CHARTS!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: Kept on looking at the visa all day! lololol Yeeeeep...just had to make sure they didnt screw up with a typo error or something.. :wacko: lolol

FINALLY! It's come to an end and a new chapter now begins... :blush:

Hey guys...just to give you an idea how long it takes to get the passport back...My Passport /Visa got delivered today!!
Had the interview March 10-Friday...Got a text from Delbros that it got released from Embassy yesterday March 14 ...and it's in my hands today! I live 30 kms south of manila....just 5 days wait! wooo hooo!

Greg2005 and Andrewkonen? Did you get yours delivered in Metro Manila and if so how long did it take? From what Iam reading it seems to be about 5 days.

I just spoke with my wife about 10 minutes ago and she is in line now at the embassy and I will keep you posted out the outcome of her interview

Lira had her interview on the 10th and we just got the Visa today, Thursday the 16th, we are staying only 6 blocks from the embassy.

we will be flying to the USA on the 24th. :dance:

I don't think Lira wants to talk about her interview, too embarrassed. :innocent:

any way i do suggest that the USC be there for the interview, i think that really helps a lot :thumbs:

Let me be the first to say out of the 3 from VJ who had interviews today. My wife's interview was APPROVED whooooooooooooo. Now I'm on cloud 9. I'm so excited now :dance: :dance: And my wife meet Rebelheart and she was also APPROVED too. so that was 2 out of the 3. Thank you guys for all the support, you have been great.

Updated to include fianceeinwaiting. I'm sorry to hear about your long wait in AR. I hope this is resolved soon. Did your fiance ask for his senator or congressman's help already? One and a half years in AR is just too much to bear.

We were put on AR i think. Told all paper work was great, but need to verify that she is single...that is what the lady said over the fone...she was confused and weird. They made her pay for the delivery fee and kept her passport. They said the process can take as long as 6 weeks for this...but to call in 2 if nothing happens... they said that they will only call if they have a problem, other than that, they will just send the visa in the mail ... so i am confused. I see people in AR fo months...why did she say up to 6 weeks like thats the longest, why did she act like it would be resolved in 2? The interviewer was an ###... cut her off a lot and wouldnt let her finish her sentences.. she speaks excellent english...he was intentionally trying to confuse her she said..but she didnt give in.. she said he talked to her like she was 2. He was in an evil mood from when she walked in..he frowned at her...and kept a mad face the whole time. They gave all the proof of relationship back without as much as going over it but a quick glance...and she had TONS of that ..pics from various trips there...etc. They even gave her back my updated letter of intent. The man giving her the slip that said "will contact you" said she has to pay the visa cause she might get it here in a few days...hmmm weirdos.

Sorry you got such a ### for the interview Purpledonkey. I hope the visa will be in the mail soon. That is to me the most irritation and frustrating part of mainla embassy, the lack of information. I am telling my fiancee that if the interview says ok you can leave and see the man at the window, she is not to leave the interview without asking is she was approved or not and if not what can she do.

not too bad, 4 months to get interview, maybe manila is speeding up a little. who knows people who just got noa2 like rustyash may have interview in june. But i wouldn't hold my breath. :-)

I called the embassy again because i am impatient. This time i got a fluent english speaking girl. She seemed very calm and sweet.. according to her, she said that I have nothing to worry about that it is protocol that some applications get doubled checked (ok whatever) and she said all they want to do in this case is go over my fiancee's info.. she said many filipinas have the same name and if all the info was true that the visa would be in the mail...no contact. She also said, and i didnt ask, that the interview went ok and everything was alright with that...and that all my info was great... so I also asked what would cause a application to be in AR longer than that six weeks....she said that was usually for more comples issues such as having the interview NOT be ok....thinking that the filipina doesnt have a true relationship..that as well as cases with paper work screw ups.... so who knows..hopefully she isnt full of it.. thanks all later.
