Congrats Madison and prayers for Roymcn3rd. Glad things are moving along so fast!

Anyway I have a question, I am planning on attending the CFO guidance and counseling as soon as I can. Do you think this is possible? What can I do? GEEZZ Im so lost! Shaking! and uuhhhh....

My fiance was told that the packet has been sent out last friday but until now I don't have it yet. I am kind of worried because I am only here in manila and uuugggghhhh what's taking so long?

Needing Help and Opinions,

Zane

Yes and I think it's a good idea to get it out of the way ASAP. My fiancee plans to do her CFO the day before her medical exam. We plan to do the medical exam 1 month before her interview.

1st I think you need to get through the interview. The reason is you need to have the Office at the CFO see all of the Documents. I do know your not to open up the Brown Envelope until you reach the Port Of Entry. Do you have an Interview date yet?

My Fiance waited until after the Visa was issued for the CFO...

This is the Packet #4

I really wish it was easier to get information....The way all of this goes down is inexusable. The Gov. should make all things more clear. I just spent 3 hours on the phone with a POE Question that no one could answer.....

You can take the CFO seminar anytime. You just can't get the CFO stamp until you have visa in hand. Congrats on your visa approval.

You don't need the VISA to go to the CFO. Please don't post misleading information. :protest:

Yes we do have an interview date already and medical appointment on 12th of january but I am planning to get the CFO done the day before my medical which I am planning on going by 20th this month. It's going to be a little bit tough because I have a four year old son and the wait in line can be frustrating for a hyper kid like him.

Right! I've been trying to reach Saint Luke for queeries but the lines seems busy all the time. Okay another question. In case I am not going to recieve my packet, what should I do to accomplish my medical exam? Heard that I can pick it up at Saint Lukes? Is this possible?

I think there are others here who can answer that more completely than I can. We were Lucky because the Embassy shipped our letter with The medical dates & the Interview dates already set one week apart from each other. So we just followed there dates.

hello! yes i'm still lurking. :) congrats to the new approval. it seems as though the Embassy is doing some new SOP where in they automatically hold the approved Visa if they have questions re: BC's, Cenomar etc...at least they don't consider you on AR.

to those replying...please don't quote the entire forum when responding. :D if you happen to include the rest of the entries written by others...you can always delete it...(just make sure the codes are not broken...i.e. [ qoute] text [ /qoute]...is at the beginning and the end of what you are actually quoting. just trying to make it easier for everyone and less cluttered. or you can always just click on ADD REPLY at the bottom of the thread.

hi,

prayers to those who will have their interviews tomorrow, specifically, roy's fiancée. also, to those who will have their medical examinations and the ones who are waiting for their visas to arrive in their respective destinations.

God bless,

tam

Suggestion: if you would like to check the status of your visa after the interview, try to call the Dept. of State's (DOS) no. which is 202-6631225 ext. 100. a visa specialist will be able to give you some useful information about the status of your case. just provide the case no. (e.g. MNL2006723XXX) and the beneficiary's name,

Hi Zane,

just want to make a simple advice .... if you could have someone to take care of your son, when you attend CFO because .. kids are not necessary anymore to attend CFO although you need to file 2 forms whenever its time for you to avail the certificates and sticker. You gonna pay 2 fees for that, one for you and your son. But the seminar was necessary only for your attendance because it will gonna be really rough for your son ... its a halfday viewing and talking ... a lunch break and waiting for your one on one interview with the counselor for possible approvals or you have something to accomplish more before they approved you and then thats the time for you to go to the back of the building for the issuance of certificates and stickers.

But of course, you gonna need to bring your son for the medical appointment at St. Lukes, it will gonna be a 2 days session ... 1st day for physical and lab tests, xray ... 2nd day is for vaccines and release of approvals and instructions for your next steps.

It really tough for us with K2's ... but i'm glad I already through with everything now that we're settled here and got off from Immigration processing already till 2008.

Goodluck on your coming more approvals! (F)
