Congratulations to all who got their visas approved, who got their interview dates scheduled and to those still waiting, hang in there. A special congrats to Windchaser. I am sooooo happy for you that finally, the visa is in your sweetie’s hands. Have a happy life together.

Friends, please look at your timelines carefully and if it needs updating (or if your name is missing), please let me know. We would appreciate it too if you could provide Manila case number and Manila Embassy receipt date (if available) as these help with the crystal ball prediction. The list is arranged according to Manila case number or date of NOA2 (if case number is not available).

Hey guys, I posted my timeline a couple of days ago and I got an assumption than since my case number is MNL2006805xxx, I could probably get my interview late March or early April next year. Can you like help me again and do another forecast, that, if thats the case when should I get my interview packet? The reason I have asked about this is because my fiance and I are planning to see each in Hong Kong early January of the upcoming year. Is it okay for me to leave on the said date? I just don't want to miss out the packet just in case they send it to me. Hope one of you guys can shed some light on this matter. Thanks in advance.

the interview dates aren't released till after the 15th of the month, so a packet probably wouldn't be delivered before the 20th of the month.

Thank you so much for the information, at least that assures me that I can proceed with the trip without any worries.

Hi Patiently waiting,

Our Visa was delivered on Nov 29th to a Manila location. It took 9 days because of a name check.

I'm going to call and find out tomorrow but Michigan requires both parties submit a SSN for a marriage Cert. Of course she won't have one a week after she comes over. I know this is off topic, just curious if anyone knows how to do it. :help: I'd rahter ask in here.

Wind, this is the response we got from the Oakland County Clerk when we inquired about me not having SSN, driver's license and state ID when applying for marriage license.

"She can bring in her passport and her birth certificate. He (you) must provide us with birth certificate and driver's license to show he is an Oakland County resident."

I will send you by PM our entire inquiry and the response of the County Clerk.

Honeymoon was sweet. We learned how to scuba-dive in Puerto Galera so we did diving during the day and another kind of diving at night hi-hi-hi :wub: <blushing kuno> I also missed my VJ family!!!!!
