When you say "Forms LIKE the DS156", do you mean ONLY the DS156? Or do you mean DS156K and DS157 must also be done online?[/size] I have the link for the DS156 online, but don't see online links for others which generate barcodes.

As of now the ONLY form that is required to be electronically filled-out is the DS-156 that is accessible off the embassy website. The pdf versions of forms DS-156K and DS-157 are also available from the Dept. of State web page and can be filled-out online, but they don't generate a barcode like the 156.

I have a question for everybody here...

Is the Embassy now accepting only the Forms like the DS156.... filled out online only? The packet 4 my Fiance recieved says nothing about this & She recieved it well after the Embassy announced they wont accept Handwritten Forms anymore. Should I have her do Both to be sure? I know it has much to do with the Barcode printing for Authenticity right?

My Honey's Interview is a week from Monday

the Embassy website says only EVAF will be accepted after Nov 1. that's the way my fiancee is doing it. a third page will be printed with a barcode. the barcode contains info entered on the DS-156. the Embassy just needs to scan it to enter into system.

the DS-156 is the only form REQUIRED to be done online. it will print a third page with a barcode. important to save that page. the inform entered is not sent to the Embassy. when at the interview, the barcode will be scanned to input inform on the form. using pdf fillable not necessary unless you have messy handwriting like me. :lol:

I am also now concerned about my fiances NSO BC. Her Fathers middle name is misspelled(an "A" vs an "O" in the middle of his name.) WE dont supply parents middle names on the G-325 so maybe this wont matter. Also My Fiances first name is hand printed while everything else is typed. i wonder if either of these will become issues ?

Hey guys, Really good news today....My fiance got her visa from Delbros today out of the blue! She didn't get a text or anything saying they were sending it. I called them the same day it was release and they said there wasn't any news. I was planning on bugging the Congressman's office next week again :P We are so relieved and happy at this point. A pretty good suprise for Thanksgiving! :thumbs: WOW, is this finally happening?? :help: Anyways, i thought i would say thank you to the people who prayed for us, gave us help and encouragement. :thumbs: We thank God that our prayers were finally answered, maybe not in our time but God's time. ;)

can you obtain copies of ITR's at IRS for free? and how many pages are they usually? if we get like an early february interview date, is it ok if we don't have yet ITR and W2 for 2006? and only the last three years? i don't think i will have it available, the ITR and W2 for 2006 if we get early february... any input? thank you - pin

can you obtain copies of ITR's at IRS for free? and how many pages are they usually? if we get like an early february interview date, is it ok if we don't have yet ITR and W2 for 2006? and only the last three years? i don't think i will have it available, the ITR and W2 for 2006 if we get early february... any input? thank you - pin

yes they are free and easy to obtain. call 1-800-829-1040 and follow the prompts. you'll receive in about 10 days. it's a single page, front and back. 2006 ITR will not be requested till after April 15, 2007. if you've filed it already, I'd send photocopy. if not I'd send copy of W-2 to back up your income.

are you sure 2006 ITR will not requested till April? why my fiancee has his ITR for 2005 and he requested it january 26, 2006? its done electronically. i think you can get your tax return that way and much easier and early. but i am not sure if in the other state some doing that? now m confused here also coz we are expecting my interview this coming Feb as well. your opinion could help alot to us. thanks.

Yes, 2006 returns are not due until April 15. Even then, some people take an extension with a due date of October 15. 2005 is only year required for you.
