First, I want to extend my deepest prayers to those still awaiting the joy for which they rightfully deserve.

I can not express the overwhelming emotions I feel. My Baby called me yelling... WE'RE APPROVED!!! I somehow always knew but I wanted to officially her it from her lips. SWEET!!! I'm going to give my family and friends a call, get something to eat, sit back and take it all in... This is like winning a big game... It's really cool but we won't the championship. Maramig Salamat for all of you well wishes. I am deeply touched. May God continue to bless us with his grace and mercy.

Cheers!!!

Uling

Uling, congrats my man. I can't imagine the weight that must be off your shoulders now. Hope the rest of your life together is all sweetness and devoid of any such stress as applied by this immigration process.

Keith88 also had an interview on 13th. haven't seen a post. hopefully was also approved.

Hi all.

yes I think we got approved..not sure because the counsular was a real jerk...but when we went to window 37 for our release of documents there was a purple approved ticket on our folder and the she handed back our pics and emails and gave us a slip to go pay Delbros for the delivery of the visa..but we did have a bad experience with our counsular.he wasnt friendly or considerate to out emotions..knowing how nervous we both were..and he didnt even say anything when Irish said thank you sir at the end of the interview....but i did leave another post about what happened under its own thread in this forum..any ways i think we r ok..thank you God...and also Congrats to all the other approvals in these past few days.

Keith&Irish Forever

:dance: Congratulations Keith and Irish!:dance: Goodluck and wish you both all the blessing and happiness in life together forever!

Congrats Uling!!!

I have some questions.

Since Luz hasn't heard anything yet from the Embassy I called the DOS and asked them for the status of my case. They said that Packet 3 was sent on Oct 23. I told them that Luz hasn't gotten it yet. They said for Luz to call the embassy and request they send it again. The number they gave me is different from the one in Ulings signature. They gave me:(63) 2-528-6300 Ulings number is (63) 538-6300. Which one is right?

Is this the number that they charge $18 to use? If so I guess I should be the one to call.

Thanks guys!!

Gary are you referring to the letter that the Embassy sends to confirm receipt of you case? There is no packet 3 for Manila as I understand it, just the packet 4. It took almost 3 weeks for us to get our letter but my fiancee lives near the old Clark Air Base, not sure how far Luz lives from Manila and the usualy mail delivery time. Good luck, Ken (Payato)

The lady at the DOS said that Packet 3 was mailed. I asked her what was in Packet 3 and she said some more forms for Luz to fill out. She was reading it off from her computer.

The 528-6300 number is the one posted on the embassy web page. I think that would be the correct number.

Hi Gary! In other countries, the forms that the beneficiary needs to fill up are included in packet 3.

In Manila, there is no packet 3. The forms that we (the beneficiary) needs to fill up is the packet 4.

It won't be too long and Luz will receive her packet 4. If you can call the Manila USE or the call center and get your case number, Luz can choose to pick up the packet at St. Luke's if she doesn't live too far. She just needs to call St. Luke's (she will need the MNL case number) and tell them that she will pick up her packet.
