Yes looks like we are on deck NOV 6 Monday. We have everything in order our confidence level is pretty high. I just returned from the PI last week spent another 10 days. It would have been nice if we had the interview then, I would have loved being there but...Jenn will do just fine.

This leg of the journey is coming to and end :D

Best of luck to Angelmae, keith88, YnaYeBa0808. Uling, JimGem, Goodman, Ara & Ken

Thank you so much for giving us the good luck comment.I think I am having my nervous breakdown now.I am going to be with Irish at her interview and i think i might pass out too. We've come so far now and i am hoping that all goes smoothly and we pass.I dont know what id do if we were deined.I am also gonna aski if we can pick up her visa at the embassy coz she never recieved her packet 4 or her cenomar and i dont want to take a chance the visa gets lost in the mail too.Plus i would like to bring her home with me since ill be there until the 23rd of Nov.What r my chances of them letting us pick up the visa at d embassy since ill be accompanying her and expalin about the mail not getting to her?Wow it would be a nice Thanksgiving gift if it was granted. Thanks for any replys or advice and good luck to all the rest of us going through this process.

I am probably in the same boat as the majority of you because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that all of our paperwork and back-up documentation are in order and we are ready for the consular officer. BUT WHY is there still a looming shadow of uncertainty. I would call it doubt but it’s not that… it’s the uncertainty of the unknown due to an extremely subjective process with an extreme amount of responsibility and latitude granted to the decision maker (Consular Officer). I wish that so many before us and in the midst of us would not have tainted the system forcing us into this time-consuming over-validated bottlenecked and subjective process. It may be necessary but I’m still a tad bit frustrated in having to validate my life and love before our lives together can truly blossom. The only great part is that we share in an experience that has truly given me a deeper appreciation for being in love and finally finding the one in which I have been destined to marry. It’s a shame that so many earnest couples have been prolonged in their quest to be begin their lives together. I just wanted to share my thoughts. Cheers!!!

hi keith! we have the same appointment date and i think interview times. See you in line :D we're planning to go back to the states on the 21st of november. my paid time off was short a day so i had to take the chance. hopefully they will allow us to pick up the visas....

say hi! i dont know how you look like but just call out yna. my pics are posted as well as my fiance's ! there's three of us IR_K3 's interview is on the same day as ours. dont be a stranger....

JOIN FORCES. and if I do faint, youll know it was me. if i forget to post in this thread that i did faint (theres a sidebet going on between uling, roy and PW) just let them know... hahahha

See you at the embassy :D send me pics if you want. i want to say hi.

awwwww uling... my negoy brother! id have to agree. no matter how much i rack my brains i think the uncertainty of the whole situation being that our lives and happiness lie in the hands of someone who does not know how we truly feel as well as not experiencing the anguish and stress that this whole process causes us just totally leaves us in the dark. to be judged by someone who knows not one tad of information that underlies the relationship and what not, makes it all the more worse. how can someone judge based on their own feelings or what they read on paper? but that is what destiny has given us. i think, that this process has taught all of us a valuable lesson and taught us to appreciate what we have and who we are sharing it with. in the end, we will all succeed. im a firm believer that life does not grant us something only to take it away, or let us meet somebody special (whom we know will keep us eternally happy) in our lives if we did not deserve it. this special bond that we all share, has hurdles along the way but at the end of this bitter sweet experience, it wil be all worth it. i know it is.

my 2cents.

Hoy YYB! My fiancee's flight is on 21 November as well. Maybe I'll see you at LAX... who knows! I planning on showing up at the airport in a suit and a sign with my fiancee's fake name like I'm a chauffeur... She calls me Ahmari Bin Laden (inside joke).... so I will have a sign that reads, "Wilma Bin Laden" I'm sure that folks are going to be looking at me like I'm crazy. LOL!!!

hahahah ... funny ka talaga! so how far is torrance from IRVINE? what flight? eeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkk... ill look for the sign. maybe neil and i will come to you and say hi. i dont know about bin laden. i get the joke i dont know about airport security... thats probably goignt o make them freak out. taking cathay pacific flight, scheduled to arrive in LAX 820PM i think. should i still arrange for pick up? hahaha kidding!!!

speaking of which did you know theyre so paranoid that one time, they scanned my bags and were telling me i had dangerous chemicals conatained in it. ... this was a year ago. they opened my bags , wore gloves and used all these beepy things ... so they went on for like twenty minutes trying to figure out what it was. it was a big deal i was holding up the line. then they found the six pack of zest soap (YES SOAP) that i had for my dad. they were like ahm mam, youre carrying weapons... i was like ahm? SOAP? ZEST? weapons? i wanted to bust out laughing but i think they wont appreciate it. so i told them if they want, they can keep the soap, i just wanted to catch my flight... they said no and left me alone.

i love the inside joke thing, itll be funny, then we will know if it was you. maybe if wilma and i on the same flight, we can all sit together, neil and i will make her kulit! hahahahha

LOL! She is flying home on Philippine Airlines and will arrive at 6:20pm. So we'll actually probably just be leaving the airport about time your flight arrives.

YYB - Oh, Irvine is only about 30 - 45 minutes away from Torrance depending on your location and the traffic...

My fiancee's flight is on 21 November as well.

Not meaning to be negative, but due to your own admitted uncertainty because our "fate" lies in the subjective and often retarded judgment of a CO, why did you decide to go ahead a book a flight for your girl before her visa is in hand? While I too am confident that our paperwork is perfect, I cannot bring myself to pre-purchase the "freedom ride." I suppose that I'm so used to being passed-over by the "system" or being lost in the shuffle of life that I don't want to tempt fate. Also, I am being very careful about getting our hopes up for the Dec. 5 interview. While it "should" be fine, if I tell her it is a slam-dunk, an AR would just crush her (and me).
