has anyone gotten there packets for april yet?? they mailed it on the 13th, but we still havent gotten it. when i call the embassy or the state dept. they still have her old address. (we've sent 14 faxs of the new address) yove has gone to her old address every day to check if its come, but still hasnt arrive

Hi Danoco,

I havent got my packet yet, embassy staff says been sent out Jan 26th, my interview due to march. I requested to pick it up in St. lukes so i cud take my medical exams. So after a week passed i went yesterday morning to pick up my packet, but i expected with nothing, hadnt got it yet but i did proceed to my medical yesterday and today (2 days) without my appointment letter, later when i go there hopefully i got my packet na as St. lukes promised me.

If you still could wait till next month for ur packet, since ur interview is april. but theres no harm to request it and pick it up to SLEC just be sure its really true, and if its ok to her to take medical exams already.

Hehe, you guys don't need the packet to take the medical, just a copy of the NOA2 and maybe the NVC letter.

I have a question guys. There's an advise somewhere here or in "ASAWA" that on DS-156K we should write on the 'DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE' the name of the fiance, date and signature. I am on K3 and I don't have DS-156K. Is the rule also applicable on DS-156?

ours came today but you can get it forwarded to st lukes...then you wont ahve to worry and if it does come, you'll have a spare!

You don't have to be nervous, just be honest whenever you got ur physical exams, doctor can sometimes so mean, but they are the one knows everything in terms of body matters specially more of them are ob-gyne, be sure to ur LMP date bcos they will used it for finalizing what vaccine should be given to u. There is a girl i met this afternoon in K3 visa and she was been advice by the doctor not tobe given MMR, bcos shes fertile and might get pregnant.

For the all fiance out there whenever your fiancee got the MMR vaccine from their medical, shouldnt be gettin pregnant after 1-3 months, bcos surely it gonna have worst side effect for the baby. So tight ur belt hehehehe,

About my packet, im going for 3rd day to SLEC just for the packet, and my son was advised to have his other vaccines ticked at his medical results to be taken before flying.

Question pls, anyone???: Do i need to bring my 4 yr old son for embassy interview????? just wondering...

maybe tom&jackie mean is dat ... on form DS156 the block 41 which is u certify ur the one who fileld the forms, u shud thicked the box of question #39 as "NO" and then u will sign the #(or block)41 only before interview.

As my understanding to K3 really dont have DS156k bcos its only for the K1 that its like a letter of intent to marry the USC in 90 days in US.

I wouldn't get too excited about it yet, Dano--Lye just got hers two days ago, and it was supposedly mailed on Jan 26th...and she lives in Paranaque.

ya but the weird thing is we've sent over 14 faxs (over 10 week period) called several times and they dont seem to be able to correct her address. plus she live less then 15 minutes from the embassy i think its a bit weird that mail takes 10+ days to be delievered in the same town. i know yove gets her bills on time so im sure the mail system cant be that much worse then the U.S. mail
