I really don't understand why my case is so far behind. If they have updated the website, and even November is filled up already (since my case isn't coming up at the URL http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp ) I must be looking at a time sometime next year!

I was one of the last who finally got their IMBRA forms, but one of the ones closest to the March 6th deadline when I originaly filed it took 2 days to get NOA1. I don't understand how people later than me got their RFE's sooner (by about a month) and now their interviews?

This is just very upsetting.

Meh, nothing to see here.

That is very odd and upsetting. Have you called the Manila Embassy to inquire about your case?

trey_n_roxy - Congrats and thank you. What's funny is that when I arrived home from work, I checked but no update. And now... BAM... There it is!!!!

PW - We have a Nov 14 Visa Interview date and our Medical Exam is scheduled for Nov 7. We still have not received packet 4 from the Embassy, but they usually don't mail that until close to a month before the interview.

Cheers!!!

Nope, don't call the DOS. Very rude. No information at all. VeeJay, get her, immediatly ask for a supervisor or call back.

She would just interrupt each time I try to ask a question, tell me she doesn't have information, and then after only 5 minutes told me she has to move on.

Meh, nothing to see here.

Patiently waiting I just received my interview date. Please update my information to the tracking list. My interview date is November 6th. My case was received by the embassy on July 27th. I hope the others waiting get your interview dates soon. Looks like the embassy scheduled a new batch of interviews.

Fellow Manila VJ'ers (especially those with late July/early August NOA2), please read my post "HELP - I'm so confused!" in the Foreign Embassy and Consulate General Discussion. I just put it there and I am so confused. In a nutshell, the Dept. of State just informed me that whomever entered my fiancee's address into the computer left out her city!!!! So, they told me to e-mail the embassy the full address (which is clearly listed in her package) and request that they send Packet 3 ASAP (yep, Packet 3...I thought we didn't get that, only Packet 4, but she says otherwise). The specialist told me that she won't get an appointment date until she gets Packet 3 and mails the embassy her DS-230!!!! (YIKES) That means instead of the November appt we were expecting, we're going to be pushed back who knows how long!

Anyway, I'm really confused and could really use your knowledge and experience. Please post here are check my other thread for more details.

Oh, and congratulations to all of you who are now receiving appointment dates for October and November - good on ya!

A DS-230 needed, #######? That is an immigrant visa application. The K1 Visa packet says to use 156 and 156K and 157, since it's for fiancee. That makes no sense. I'm as confused as you are.

I suggest that you call the Manila Embassy also - 0116325286300 ext. 5184.

As for the Packet 3, whoever you talk to at DOS is just plain STUP..!

Yeah, try calling the Manila Embassy. Your timeline didn't say when the Consulate received your physical files, but NVC receiving it since May? I would be upset too!!!

Goodluck!!!

They got the physical files originaly back in May. But then got sent back due to IMBRA late July, and I never got the RFE until August. The latest information they seem to have at the embassy was that it was sent back in July, without a reason why (although we know it was due to the IMBRA recall) and that they have no further information.

The NVC supposedly sent the file back finally back on the 9th. I just probably hasn't arrived yet. But we are very delayed compared to others and I just don't understand why.

Typical badluck I guess. I have never had luck with the "system" why would it change now

Hi all,

Anyone here know exactly what papers the NVC sends with ds-230 for the philippines. We are doing the cr-1/cr-2 and just paid the IV bill....we should be able to send the ds-230 next using the short cuts but i'm not sure exactly what papers to send as the philippines is on there list of countries that need the part 2...so if anyone has done this step and can tell me exactly which forms and documents i need i'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jazzy
