I did my medical exam today in St. Lukes. I was asked to undergo sputum test due to the small scar saw in my cxray. It really made me feel crying because I never expect to have it. I recently have check-up and I was told I am healthy. I asked the staff there how bad it is, she said everything is fine except that they saw scar in my lungs. So, I still need to have the sputum test.

Even though, I am not in hurry to leave because I still need my foot to be heal, I still feel bad about it. Anyway, I was assured I will not have problem in interview because they'll be the one to have re-schedule it. So, next week starting Monday until Thursday, I am going back to the St. Lukes for the test. Then, the result would be in first week of May.

So, wanna cry....

I guess, I will ask the pulmonarist next week about it. Anyway, scar is like an indication that you have historical problem in lungs.

It's just that..... this whole thing makes me feel depress.

Get 2nd openion from other doctors, if you don't have any history of lung deffects or something you can try in some other doctors anyway x-ray is not that expensive, it happens to my seaman nephew before he don't have any lung problems but he went through with his medical the doctor said that he has a spot in his lung, but when he tried to have 2nd openion in different doctor it was clear nothing wrong and his fine, try it to make it sure drink lot of alpine milk like 2 to 3 nights before taking another x-ray, don't worry it will be okey good luck!!!

See if you can get a private test that's faster than the sputum culture test.

I don't know if there is such a test but you'd think there would be.

That way if you do have TB you can get started with the treatment that normally takes about 6 months to cure.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

The cure will be an antibiotic that you will be taking for 6 months then you will be asked to do a follow up x-ray and possibly another sputum test. No alcohol consumption when you are on the meds.
