Hi everyone:) I am trying to fill out form I485 (Application to register permanent residence or adjust status) and I have a small question. What box should I check on part 2 question. I came here in the US on K-3 visa and I am not sure if I should check the 1st or the 2nd box.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks:)

Why "b"?

If her husband is a American Citizen wont be the correct answer.

I think is "h" and she should explain: Married to US CITIZEN ( K-3 VISA GRANTED).

Am I wrong?

I am totally confused! Everybody says something different.. I was told by many people the answer should be a I've checked box a that says an immigrant petition giving me an immidately available visa number that has been approved..

I am planning to send my AOS papers (I am K-3) tomorrow..but every day i find differet info :(
