Haha, I've actually been dragged up on stage with a live band to sing the refrain of Nosi Balasi. When I was still in the RP I had the numbers of House of the Rising Sun and Hotel California memorized for when it was my turn at the mic. Actually singing tagalog songs was kinda fun too, though I could only even attempt very slow ones. gave everyone a good laugh. She still laughs at my pronunciation every time I try to say something new in Visaya. I'm sure we'll have to get some sort of videoke when she get here. She loves it and has a wonderful voice I could listen to all day.

Actually we have a new Magic Mic that is wireless aqnd we love it.

We sold the old one to upgrade to wireless, and I am glad we did.

Thanks to sumakya.com we can now pack it up, take it with, and you have an instant party.

Oh..by the way my favorie song I learned is Sa Mata Makikita.

Love that song, and a few others.

Karaoke is the way to go...even if others dont understand that are not Asian.

Love to see others open up and be themselves even in a group setting...

Something others could learn to do, and it's always a blast

 Awesome! My in-laws sent us a Magic Sing about a month ago. I've always sang in the car or shower, but too shy to sing in front of others. It's taking some getting used to hearing my voice over the mic, but I enjoy singing. It's made me realize that my voice just isn't high enough for many Pop favorites - Rolling Stones or The Police - I'm not too good, but I've found my range with James Taylor or Coldplay. :star:

We're fully loaded -- Magic Sing with 4 additional song chips. Marlene is a great singer. I know my limitations and don't pick up the mic.

My wife is a good singer but she doesn't want to have karaoke at home. She only sings when we attend parties in other Fil-Am homes who have karaokes. But she does sing tunes around the house when doing stuff and in the shower.
