Feel free to make whatever conclusions you like, because you can bet others have made a few about you.

It didn't take long did it? See below.

If you seriously believe that being a 'news junky' makes you an expert on anything, then I have to shake my head in disbelief. Primary source material is essential to being an expert on anything, media is not primary source.

Where did make the claim I was an expert due to following the news? Contradicts several my previous posts on this thread but shaking your head so frequently and vigorously can cause brain damage. Never shake a baby.

You can be an expert here without a primary source. In the valley of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

The smart political course of action for Obama—but not the correct one—would be to admit the surge has worked to reduce violence but to observe that that's little solace after a needless invasion and five-year (and counting) occupation that has cost more than 4,000 lives and about $600 billion.

5 year long "dubious war" = 600 billion = bad

"dubious" stimulus = 800 billion = good.

I'll still take the money being spent here instead of abroad.

How is that true in this context? You're just another guy with an opinion...

That hardly translates to "expert"

When the truth comes out, that number will be much higher.

You think the off topic board is a learning forum?

Yeah, plus I've always been a news junky. I assume you come here because you have no social life or perhaps your personal appearance or hygiene habits preclude you from conventional social contacts. I may be off there a tad but surely there are others things to do in NYC or has it gotten that dull in the Big Apple?

Speaking for myself, I come to OT for entertainment.

What does that mean then? Nothing presumably and it was just a juxtaposition with your diatribe against PD.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Whatever, but IMHO, better here than in Iraq.

LIES I just checked in a young man on a flight out to IRAQ. I shook his hand and gave him an exit row window. I always feel like crying when I see them going out. I'm 26 he had a wife and kid seeing him off.
