HELLO AM SORRY SHOW MY CASE AGAIN BUT ITS BEEN 19 DAY NOW AFTER I SENT MY PETITION TO NABRASKA SERVICE CENTER...DOES ANYWONE HAVE SAME CASE LIK MINE? :( JUST WANT SHARE SOME O MY WORRIES.... :(

AND PLZ I JUTS WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY CASE HAS BEEN SENT FROM NEBRASKA TO VESRMONT?

Hi,

I'm in the same boat - 17 days now from the CSC. I understand the frustration and anticipation, especially when you see so many timelines where the NOA1 happens within a day or two from the submission! ....sigh.

Hang in there. I imagine the whole IMBRA issue has thrown everything out of whack. Hopefully we'll get our NOA1's before the end of this month. (finger's crossed).

Also with the IMBRA stuff going on at the moment there could be a delay cause of that.

September 15 - 2005: NOA1

October: Waiting

November: Waiting

December: In Security checks

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

October: 13th: Sent off AOS Package

November 3rd: NOA1

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

November 14th : CSC has petition for me and my daughter.

December 14th: Biometrics completed.

January 17th: APPROVED AOS!

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

Yes ours just came in on the 12th, so you should have yours anyday I am sure.

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

If you read on USCIS site, they say that it´s taken them longer to send the NOA1s.

"Due to an unusually large volume of receipts at the Service Centers, it is taking longer than expected to enter cases into the system. Depending on the type of case and service requested, it may take approximately 14 days to generate and mail receipt notices. Once the receipt notice has been generated, it may take an additional 2 to 3 days for customers to receive their receipt notices in the mail. Per existing policies and procedures, requests for Premium Processing Service will continue to be processed within 15 days. USCIS wishes to assure all customers that the original received date will be honored and recorded on the receipt notice. This date will appear in the "Received Date" box on Form I-797, Notice of Action. The received date is different from the "Notice Date", which also appears on Form I-797. The Notice Date is the date the receipt notice was actually generated. USCIS has taken appropriate measures to address this situation."

Um, IMBRA DOES apply to you. Your timeline says you filed on June 5, 2006. IMBRA affects every single petitioner who filed after March 6, 2006. Male or Female. Met through a marriage broker or not.

You'll be getting an RFE shortly.

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer

People, you must remember IMBRA applies to ALL cases with NOA1 after March 6th, doesn´t matter how you met, who´s male or female, and where you´re from.

I must have misunderstood the law :blush: I thought it only applied to those who met through a marriage broker, since it's called International Marriage Broker Regulation Act.
