both petitions recieved and assigned a case number for I130

Hi all , we recieved the hard copy of NOA2 in mail Monday(yesterday ) as our both petitions were approved Thursday , i just called NVC , they got both petitions and assigned case number for I-130 no numbers for I129F Hopefully soon ,

I was wondering if you really need case number for I129F when you already have it for I-130. I guess one is for your child - maybe.

Anyway, congratulations and hope it goes fast in NVC process.

Do you know how soon one have to fly after obtaining the VISA? Is the Visa issued and valid only for 30 days and hence one should make arrangements as early as possible.

i guess they assign case number for I129 f , because the operator told me they didnt assign it yet , i dont know how soon do one have to travel after the visa is issued but heard something about 30 days ,

we just need the visa first then make arrangements later , Good luck in your journey

just called NVC , they recieved my petitions Feb 23rd and now they assigned case numbers for both petitions , she said they usually send it to the embssy in a week,i hope it keeps on going fast

This is great , they sent the case to the embassy in Cairo on Feb 25th , great , they recieved pettions on Feb23rd nd sent them Feb 25th , I LOVE NVC
